I've owned the Schuberth C3 for about a month, have ridden 600 miles with it under a variety of conditions and on 2 different bikes.
First off, most of the company brags about the C3 are true. Air flow through it is good; the faceplate(s) absolutely do not fog; the flip-up sun shield is a lifesaver; streamilining is superb; it's so light-weight my neck muscles don't protest after riding 9 hours; and it's twice as quiet as the $400 Shoei Multitec it's replacing.
Can it be improved? Certainly. Though it's rated at 84 db, I still find I need earplugs on long trips. The C3 faceplate opens at detents, like most helmets, but they are too far apart, and their "latch" ability is not very strong. Most irritating thing is that you cannot crack the faceplate open a small amount, perhaps 1/4", to allow additional cooling air flow over your face. The lowest detent opens it at nearly 3/4", so you get a blast of air instead. And the weakness of the "latch" means that the slipstream will slam the faceplate shut.
The biggest drawback to the C3, of course, is the astoundingly high price. But, as the man said, What price skull? The aerodynamics are phenominal; the light weight a blessing; and the noise reduction a plus. That's what you're paying for. If those features are important enough to part with $699, this helmet's for you.
I've not rated "Protection & Durability" because I haven't owned it long enough, and haven't worn it in a crash (thank you, very much!).
Yes, I recommend this product.

I use prescription eyeglasses, I need to know if I can use my prescription eyeglasses with Schubert C3.

I already own a SHOEI X12 I bought to REVZILLA last year but I want to change this one instead the Schubert. Shoei it's a little bit noisi and hot, but of course the Shoei have eyeglasses channels...
I also wear Rx glasses. The fit of the C3 is tight, mostly to achieve that 84 db noise figure. I have to don and remove the helmet without my glasses on. In the helmet, my glasses slip to my ears without problem, and the helmet does not clamp the bows too tightly against my head. So far, the C3 has been fine for me with my glasses in place.

Fit compared to Arai Profile

I currently own an Arai Profile (purchased from RevZilla) which fits my head shape as perfectly as I can imagine (no "hot spots" and tight fit). I originally tried an Arai RX-Q and immediately had hot spots on my forehead, which then made me try the Profile. However, the C3 has some appealing capabilities including the ability to install the BMW Motorrad Bluetooth system for full integration with my R1200RT. Based on my fit experience with the RX-Q and Profile, would the C3 be a viable option for me?
I haven't owned an Arai for many years, so I can't comment upon them. I wear a 7 1/8 to 7 1/4 U.S. hat size: from several Google search returns, that equates to a metric/E.U. size 58. I ordered a 58 from Revzilla, but they sent a size 59. Out of the box that seemed too tight. At about the 3rd donning, however, it seemed perfect, and has remained so since. The fit is excellent for me. And, in answer to my direct question to Revzilla Customer Service, they will allow a free return for up to 30 days, if you don't like the helmet. Pretty fair deal. -- cwo4usn
