Had the helmet about two years and really like it for cool weather riding as it is a bit warm. Visor is good and doesn't distort the view too much unless you have it half open. Fits well and has good cushioning but at highway speeds it get pushed around a lot for the size of the visor. I use a set of quick straps so I can open the visor and just wear goggles on single track and then switch back to visor when on back roads.

I use these on all my helmets for quick and easy doning and doffing of the gear. Never had one break, allows me to maintain the same strap position so I'm not readjusting how loose or tight the strap is each time also.

I have had a HJC modular helmet for 4 years and it has been great but it's getting beat up looking and needed a replacement. So the price was right and the look was very similar so it still matches my gear and black/silver v-strom. Biggest surprise for me was the improvements made in the latching and seal of the lift face. Every once in a while I used to have to struggle to get the old HJC open. Not the Zader! It opens easy and latches secure no problem. It also is a big improvement in wind noise. I think it was a great purchase and look forward to many miles using it and relying on it to protect my head.

A simple product and obviously how Contour makes an easy buck. But with multiple helmets it is a needed product to make switching the camera possible.
I am playing with using industrial velcro so that the backing can be transfered with the camera but have not had a chance to really test it in the woods. Check ADVFilmer for updates on how this works out for me.

I have used it once just to make sure I could charge the Roam and record at the same time. It worked just fine but given the sealed back was open to do this it seamed to defeat the purpose of a water proof camera. However, a good item to have if you plan to do a multi day trip where you won't have a computer to recharge the internal battery.

I started using this before I did my first trip out west. I was used to waxes that would sling off so I took a small can with me to ensure I got good protection for the 10 day trip and thousands of miles we would ride. Over a 4,000mile + trip I only reapplied once because the chain remained so well covered and lubricated. Since then I have started using the offroad version too and like it just as much. Good price and good protection, not just WD40 in a different can.

Actually better on and off road for my Vstrom than the Tourances but after 2000mi it is showing about half the tread gone. But for the price it works out that you get better traction for the same amount spent.

After owning several others and needing to replace batteries every year, I decided to try the Tender Jr. Well, it is now the ONLY tender I use for my bikes and batteries on other vehicles! I could describe lots of uses but the simple fact that the KTM950se has the same battery I put in it 2 years ago and keeps starting strong says so much since the 950 is notorious for eating batteries of every brand. It's so simple to use and the led lets you know exactly what is going on. To date I've been able to revive three car batteries using the tender Jr. For it's price it is a must have in any unheated environment or storage situation. As the title says, I'm up to three of them now and leave them on the bikes all the time without worrying about over charging. Try one and you be sold too.

I found out about the KLIM Dakar pants on Adventure Rider from a friend after going thru several pairs of dirt bike pants while dual sport riding. I said I wanted pockets, hip and knee protection and something that will handle "real offroad riding".
Klim Dakar pants do all that and more! I now own two pair after riding with the first pair all summer. Another consideration is size, I'm 6'4" and 280 lbs. So actually getting a pair of size 42 pants that fit a size 42 guy is awsome! Plus they work gear on all my bikes, especially the sexy 950SE! lol
