I only put these on a few hundred miles ago, so I can't comment on their durability. I do like the turn-in and solid feel in corners.
I haven't ridden these in the rain yet.
I'm on a relatively heavy bike (Bandit 1200) and will update this review as I put some miles on them to see how they last.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Icon D30 Replacement Knee Pads An advanced, patented polymer, CE-rated D3O impact protectors are the latest advancement in protective armor. D3O impact protectors utilize intelligent molecules that lock together on impact. Because of this, the impact protector can be made thinner and lighter, making a jacket more comfortable and easier to wear. However, this decreased size does not come at the expense of impact protection. Will fit any ICON Pants that were originally equipped with ICON Field Armor Knee Pads. Sold as a pair. Dimensions 143mm X 227mm (approx. 5.6 x 8.9) 109 grams each (3.8 oz) 10mm thick

Purchased these to replace the armor in my Olympia X-Moto pants. They fit in the pockets well, and the velcro system the pants have to locate the armor in the pockets works fine to customize the location of these. They're comfortable and flexible, barely noticeable really.
My only beef with these is the same as with the original pads: I don't know if they're big enough to ensure coverage in a crash. I'm concerned that they'll roll out of the way when I most need them. This is endemic to the knee pads in all the major makes that I've seen, so it's hard to hold it against Icon in particular.

I replaced the much bulkier armor in my Olympia AST jacket with these pads. They're much slimmer and more comfortable, and almost exactly the same size and shape. Money well spent.
I can't comment on the protection or durability, and hopefully won't ever be able to comment on the protection.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I ordered the medium sized cheek pads for my Large Alliance helmet, and they snugged up the fit nicely. Perfect! On the other hand, the last time I bought a helmet from a brick and mortar motorcycle shop, they gave me a set of cheek pads with the purchase...

 Icon Alliance Headtrip Helmet
Icon Alliance Headtrip Helmet
Icon Alliance Headtrip Helmet Face lifts are a mixed blessing. Dont get us wrong -we're in favor of cougars looking their best-but weve seen some scary lizard faces lately. We decided to go a different route with the Headtrip. She was never given a fair shake the first time around, banished to hell by an overzealous corporate purchasing monster. Re-colored but not stretched thin, we brought her back for another go. Don't look at it like a face lift. Think of it more like an eyeliner tattoo with LSD instead of ink. The Icon Alliance Headtrip Helmet is on the prowl. Evolved refined. Icon has never been satisfied with the status quo - which is why we created the new Icon Alliance helmet. Based on the proven Alliance SSR, this nexgen helmet is fitted with a multitude of key refinements. The first revision is the new EPS liner. We've listened to the customers requests and reshaped the EPS liner into a more oval geometry. This new headform increases rider comfort by slightly elongating the entire inner circumference. Combine this geometry with our removable Hydra-Dry wicking comfort liner and the result is a nearly perfect rider-focused enclosure. To further increase rider comfort, we've revised the entire venting system. Much like a finely tuned motor, we've reshaped and enlarged the intake and exhaust ports for increased airflow. Additional ventilation ports have also been added to the lateral aspect of the helmet to further increase ventilation. The shield itself has been upgraded to Icon's distortion-free Pro-Shield. The Pro-Shield features the ProLock shield locking system, graphic enabled sideplates, fog-free coating, and a no-tools shield change interface. Continuing with our commitment to excellence, the Alliance is constructed with premier manufacturing processes and stringent quality assurance procedures. Features All world standard, meets or exceeds the following DOT FMVSS 218 (US), ECE 22-05 (EUROPE), SAI AS1698 (AUSTRALIA) and SG (JAPAN) safety and testing standards. Does not ship with SAI OR SG Certification stickers unless purchased from an authorized dealer in that country. Injection molded polycarbonate shell for strength Long oval headform Wind tunnel tested and refined Molded twin channel supervent for increased cooling Rear exhaust ports prevent heat buildup Removable molded breath deflector reduces shield fogging Chin venting system reduces shield fogging Fully removable/washable Hydradry interior Quick-change for-free proshield with sideplates Prolock shield locking system

Make no mistake - this is a quality helmet. Everything feels high quality, the liner is comfortable, the sealing on the visor very excellent, and it feels well put together. It would rate 5 stars if it just vented a little better, and was a little quieter. If I could give it 4.5 stars, I would.
It's a fairly loud helmet, at least on my head. The cheek pads could be a little more snug, so I've ordered the next size down, and I'm hoping that will help with wind noise. For reference, it's louder than my Shoei X-11, which I believe is considered to be a fairly loud helmet.
The mechanism to lock the visor closed is a little quirky. it consists of a metal post that pops into a small hole in the bottom of the visor on the left side. It's very easy to engage and easy to open with my left hand. If I'm at a stoplight with I'm left hand on the clutch, it's nearly impossible to open with my right hand.
Ventilation is excellent to my face, but so-so to the top of my head. The top vents don't seem to do much, but they are loud on the highway.
It's truly a long oval helmet. The new Alliance is the most comfortable helmet for my head I've found after trying on everything from the less than 'premium' brands (like Shoei and Arai). Compared to most helmets, the helmet is also 'tall.' The helmet goes farther down on my head than any one I've had previously, ending below my jawbone, which I find reassuring. I could see the Alliance being to tall for some folks out there though. The anti-fog visor is great at not fogging up.
Bottom line, if most helmets give you hotspots on your forehead or the back of your head, try this one.
