Streamlined design. The sides don't balloon out, avoiding that look of me wearing a ball for a helmet. Plus, the bottom covers just enough of my chin and the base of my skull, preventing the bottom from scraping against my jacket's collar or shoulder pads during head checks.

Even with earplugs in, I still hear the wind's roar. But for a flip-up helmet, the C3 reduces the level. Plus, there's usually no whistling or booming noise. I don't think any other flip-up helmet can do all of that. In fact, I also don't think many full-face helmets can do that, either.

SUMMARY
I've wanted very much to own the Bell RS-1. Sadly, I ended up returning it to Revzilla because of the poor fit.
In fact, the fit was so harmfully tight that my cervical column (the spinal column that make up the neck) would ache when I'd put on the RS-1.
I've then eventually learned that the helmet is more for narrower heads than my rounder head. I've discovered that from the WebBikeWorld.com review of the RS-1.
As an example, here's an excerpt of what its author wrote:
"I'll give the Bell RS-1 an 'Outstanding' rating for comfort and liner materials and padding. Check the fit to make sure it works for you before buying; round heads may not fit."
So even if you have the right size, it's a requirement also to have the right head shape.

COMFORT: Outstanding. Feels like I'm wearing an armored bed comforter -- tough and comfy at the same time.
SUMMARY
Being hard-to-fit because of my short stature, I greatly appreciate the Joe Rocket Alter Ego 3.0. It fits me so well that it feels like the small size has been made specifically for me.
But regardless of size, please note: this jacket is so well insulated that it can get hot. You'd have to strip down to one of the three layers, or a combination of them, in order to find a suitable layering for warm climates.
And should you need to wear all three in cold temperatures, just know that the whole jacket is heavy -- a little bit above five pounds. That's the weight of a regular laptap. Nonetheless, the jacket is oh so comfortable.
Also, the jacket has a feature that hasn't been discussed or shown on Anthony's video: the outer shell can be rolled and zippered to itself for storage.
Overall, this jacket has been hard-earned-money well spent.

Is the Sidi On Road Gortex boot re-soleable? If so, do you stock the soles?
Take the boots to a cobbler to be resoled. I did that for my military combat boots that have lived a much harsher life than these Sidi boots will ever experience. The cobbler did such a great job that my boots almost felt like new.
