REV'IT! Cayenne Pro Pants When REV'IT introduced the new Cayenne Pro Jacket , they were tasked with developing an equally strong pair of pants the CAYENNE PRO pants. All of the product improvements incorporated in the jacket, such as weight reduction, improved insulation properties and stitch reducing laminated reflection and Super fabric panels have also been incorporated in the new CAYENNE PRO textile pants. These pants can be zipped to the jacket by a short or an all around 360 degree connection zipper. For the serious commuter or adventure / touring rider, this is the pair of pants that will fulfill your needs . Available in standard, long and short leg lengths, the Cayenne Pro Pants will zip with any current model men's REV'IT Jacket. While made to work specifically with the Cayenne Pro Jacket, the Cayenne Pro Pants also function very well when paired with the REV'IT Sand Jacket or REV'IT Dragon Jacket. The Cayenne Pro's use an Exkin thermal liner, shown to have half the weight / thickness of the Dupont liner in the Sand Pants. The Cayenne Pro's use SAS-TEC armor, and the Sand uses Pro-Life and while both are CE level 2, the SAS-TEC armor is softer (only turning hard on impact) and more comfortable. The last major difference is the use of SuperFabric on the impact areas in the Cayenne Pro.

I live in Spokane, WA. Thus buying on-line is difficult at times. I spoke with Revzilla and gave them my sizes. I'm 6'1''+, with 33 inseam and 36 waist, and 220lbs. The first XL was too tight. Did it make my butt look big? Yes. I spoke with Steve who is about the same size but not as handsome. He tried on a few pairs and came up with 2XL long. They were ordered that day. It took about a week to arrive with UPS. When standing the legs are too long. Once on the bike the length is perfect. The waist is without belt loops, but there is a Velcro adjustable waist. I am narrow enough that the velcro is pulled forward to terminal travel. Thus the waist is too big. Either additional velcro is needed on the strap, or belt loops need to be added. Last option are suspenders, which is not a personal favorite. The pants are warm!!! The highs are in the 40's and lows in the 20's right now. My legs are warm. I rode to Redding, CA this past week for Russell All-Day-Long seats (great seats). The bottom temp was 22f Wednesday evening. I had Gerbing gear underneath and was toasty warm. The bad and good news? My wife and I took a spill in Lakeview, OR on snow and ice. We slid for 150' and came to a stop on the ice. No damage to the Rev'it Cayanne jacket or pants. The ceramic welded elbow pads were great! The BMW GSA? Small damage to the handlebar end bolt, engine guard, and plastic BMW pannier left side front corner. Bottom line, we highly recommend the Rev'it Cayanne gear. Great buy for outstanding protection and durability! Thanks Revzilla team members!

Will the Sargent seat for the BMW R1150GS also fit the R1100GS and if so, do I need to use my stock seat as the base pan?
Yes it will. Sargent seats are built in it's own pan. You keep yours. True custom seats usually require the original pan for building, such as Russell All Day Long seats. If you're near A&S Cyclles in Sacramento, or Cycle Specialities in Modesto, stop by and try their Ssrget seat on the bike before you buy. Good luck!

Do these pants have any waist adjustments?
Just wondering if the GT pants have straps on the side, or anything similar, that will allow for tighter waist adjustments. I have the Phoenix jacket, sz 54; the chest fits fine, but the waist is a couple of inches large. I mention this because the waist size for the jacket corresponds to the waist size for the pants.

There are side waist velcro adjustable straps for a good fit. I am a 2XL in Rev'it world fantasy shape, with a 36 waist. Do I feel fat or what? With Gerbing underneath they are fine. Without, the straps are pulled forward to the terminal length and then the velcro stops. I need to add additional velcro or to a seamstress to add belt loops. I like a belt for security. Great pants!!!
