Really like this vest. It gives you a lot of adjustability with the shoulder straps as well as the waist straps. The articulating accordian back plate is awesome. It allows you full movement and doesn't compromise whatever riding style you prefer. My only complaint is the products venting. If you're not already wearing a moisture wicking shirt, you will definitely start to warm up quickly when at a stop. A couple of times I've ridden with the vest in 80 degree weather I felt my back rapidly start to sweat due to the lack of ventilation. No problems however once I was moving.

The Bio Armor was a definite upgrade from the basic padding my Shift jacket came with. It was cool to see how the armor actually conformed and molded itself to the shape of my back in my particular riding position.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Does anyone know what's the best back armor that will fit in the Hat Trick jacket?

Is this back protector to be used with or without the factory perforated foam piece?

I guess it really depends on the type of jacket you've got and how thick the foam piece is and how much room you've got. I tried doing just that with my Shift jacket and both of them just wouldn't fit inside the sleeve for the armor.
