Waterproof?
Is this unit waterproof at all, or does it have to come off when it rains?
Yes, it is water resistant and will do fine in the rain. It is not considered waterPROOF, because that specification requires that it be fully submersible in any depth of water without issue.

Is the the latest version of the SMH-10?
I beleive the latest version was released only a few weeks ago. I just want to make sure I am ordering the newest version.
I believe this is the latest version of the SMH-10, but keep in mind that the SMH-5 is set for release in a few weeks, and features Bluetooth 3.0 vs. the SMH-10's 2.1. It is less expensive, but does not have a 3.5mm audio input, and it's range and battery life are slightly less.

I have a Harley Road Glide Ultra, it doesn't look like this product would connect into my bike intercom for use with the CB, or could it?
Sena SMH-10 Bluetooth Headset Dual Pack Version 2.0
There are a variety of audio accessory cables from Sena which may allow you to use the SMH-10 with your CB. Take a look at the 2 way radio connector cables which may allow you to communicate 2 ways, or even a simple 3.5mm audio cable, which may allow you to at least hear the audio through the headset. These options would be hard-wired only, however. Not wireless.

what is the difference between this and the Sena Smh-10 other than teh blue tooh difference?
The SMH-10 has an auxiliary input, 3.5mm audio jack. The SMH-5 does not. There are more accessories available for the SMH-10, currently. The SMH-10 has better communication range and battery life. The SMH-5 is less expensive and utilizes Bluetooth 3.0, which could enable you to have more control over the latest electronic devices.
