This product is meant for protection. I little stiff which leads to an awkward fit in the jacket but it is for protection. This product is a great value

Correct installation?
When installed inside the jacket pouch, which side of the back protector is supposed to face/ touch your back- ie the bumpy side or the flat side? Or, does it not really matter?
Id put the smooth side to your back for a sheer comfort stand point
