The Michelin City Grip tire rides smooth and has adequate grip and is reported to last longer than the IRC that came on my PCX150. There was a slight loss in fuel efficiency versus the worn out IRC but that may be normal with any new tire. All of these modern general use street tires have a wide temperature range and continue to stick well in rain and cold. Thanks Revzilla and Michelin for having the correct size for my bike.

Alpinestars SMX-2 Air Carbon Gloves With carbon protection and motocross inspired styling and comfort, the Alpinestars SMX2 Air Carbon glove makes an excellent choice for summer motorcycle riding. Utilizing an advanced leather and mesh hybrid construction, Alpinestars SMX-2 Air Carbon Glove offers the street rider superior comfort and performance while the carbon fiber knuckle and Clarino reinforced palm ensures high levels of protection. Lightweight hybrid leather and mesh upper construction offers the ideal combination of durability, abrasion resistance and comfort. Synthetic leather palm construction with Clarino reinforcements provides extra durability and protection where it is needed most. Reinforced landing zone with built in foam padding offers additional impact protection Sizing Note If you are in between sizes order a size larger, in RevZilla's experience these gloves fit slightly small.

The SMX-2 are very comfortable right out of the box with no bunching under the palm. Very cool and smooth on your hands. They run true to the size chart which put me a size up from my Revit and Icon gloves. The fabric is fuzzing out and could use a sweater shaver but this is not a big deal. Not cheap but worth it if they last.

Riding in extreme cold weather below 35F will show the limits of even the best cutting edge gear. It's not fair to expect too much from any glove but the Rev'it Kelvin can stand up to comparison with anything out there and hold it's position "at the top of the food chain". My hand measures exactly 9 inches but I had to size down to a medium when the Bastions I was comparing to were too big in a large even though the recomendation used to be to size up when shopping for Rev'it. The Kelvins fit really well with great control feel in the finger tips and minimal bunching in the palm. The Bastions are much thicker everywhere but not that much warmer in the wind at highway speeds. Very bulky. The Held Warm and Dry has zero insulation in the thumb.? The Dainese Scout is comparable to the Kelvin if you want something almost as warm in a lighter, more pocket sized textile glove with a smaller cuff but I now believe leather is a little more wind proof than even the best bonded Gore-tex/ textile. We will see how well the leather repels driving rain. The gauntlet of the Kelvins is the perfect size to fit just over the velcro cuffs of a jacket. Easy to put on but a stylish trim fit and tight seal with easy to handle closure. Great protection and high tech looks. All day comfort and warmth into the low 40's while maintaining a high level of feel for your controls make this a winter glove you won't be in a rush to change out if the day warms up. Great product Rev'it. I'm expecting many happy miles from my Kelvins.
