Reevu MSX1 Helmet - Solid Colors The world's first rear-view helmet. Reevu has been the industry leader in rear view technology with their patented mirror system, manufactured from a reflective polycarbonate material rather than glass. The polycarbonate material is almost impossible to break, weighs less than glass and provides additional safety and comfort to the rider. The mirror system essentially bends the light around the shell of the helmet, offering a clear view of what's behind. The Reevu System works just like a car's rear view mirror offering awareness of the road ahead and behind without making a conscious effort as both are simultaneously in your field of view. Features Patented rear-view technology Tri-composite carbon fiberglass, Kevlar and synthetic hi-tenacity advanced fiber shell Fully removable and washable liner Anti-fog face shield The Reevu Mobility Program gives the rider an opportunity to replace their Reevu helmet that has been damaged in a crash with a new one at just 1/2 of the price Note Helmet ships with clear face shield.

This helmet works great. I'll admit, the _only_ reason I don't use it any longer, is that it has Reevu logos and text very visible on it rather than being simply solid colored. It makes the helmet look cheap and off-brand, and that has an effect on my decision to use it. The shape is fine, the mirror mechanism works great, and it is an all-around great helmet with acceptable style for most people.
I'd definitely wear a fully solid version (or better yet, factory logod version), but I think this is probably technology that should be licensed to the more established manufacturers rather than running as a startup helmet manufacturer. But with that said, I'd love to see more people using this, it has a HUGE safety advantage if you actually take the time to get used it.
Yes, I recommend this product.
