Happy to say I havent had to test the safety part of this jacket. But it feels good and really help keep me cool in the hot weather more so than a t shirt. I think you know you are not getting the best of the best when you buy it but I am very happy with the purchase.

UCLEAR HBC200 Dual Force Bluetooth Communicator Featuring Boomless ABF Technology, the U-CLEAR HBC200 Force introduces Super Group Intercom and Multi-Hop technology, specifically designed for group communications with full duplex intercom. Multi-hop technology, used in military tactical communications provides superior sound quality and connection stability over Bluetooth intercom systems that suffer from interference and are line of sight dependent. By incorporating Multi-hop technology, each Uclear HBC200 control unit works as a repeater or relay station, enabling the network to grow as more control units/riders are added to the group. Depending on riding conditions, the intercom range between two riders is up to 700 meters. Adding a third unit/rider increases the intercom range up to an additional 700 meters. Add a fourth rider and the entire group can communicate up to 2100 meters (1.3 miles) and so forth, in full duplex intercom mode. With the latest firmware, the HBC200 adds connectivity with other brands of Bluetooth communicators, Multipoint Bluetooth connections for syncing multiple phones, iPods or GPS units and Advanced Private Intercom. Features Boomless microphone (an industry first) Music, Calls, GPS (Bluetooth devices) Multipoint Bluetooth service supports dual device connections Connect to two smartphones at the same time, or a smartphone and an iPad, iPod, GPS etc Super Group Intercom (Full Duplex for up to 10 riders) Open intercom with other brands of Bluetooth communicators Cross-band intercom enables you to connect with other riders, even if they have another brand of communicator Multi-Hop Communication Extender With 10 users connected, Multi-Hop Technology extends maximum range to nearly 4 miles and allows non-line-of-sight connections (range will vary on environmental conditions) Voice command for hands-free call pickup Hi-Fi stereo audio (AVRCP, A2DP) Patented ABF / DSP technology isolates your voice and eliminates all background noise Auto loudness adjustments GPS device compatible (Bluetooth HS/HFP profile required) One USB/Wall charger, two USB cables (Dual pack only) Easy installation on any helmet including full face or 3/4 helmets Speaker diameter 40mm depth approx 7mm Firmware upgrades available One year manufactures warranty Note Some of the features listed above require updating the firmware to the latest version. This is the first comm system I have used so I have no point of reference in comparing it to other. I bought these to coach my lady and hear her concerns while we are riding, she just started riding. so for this it is working great the range is as advertised however we have not had a 3rd or more on with us yet. I was always against listening to music while riding, but with this unit i can hear music clearly, and still hear my bike and my surroundings. It is very different than a set of earbuds. So I am now enjoying tunes while riding without feeling compromise of safety. So if you want to be boom less(I did) and are willing to spend a couple extra bucks this is a nice unit.
I have only had them out for good weather so I cannot yet make comment on the rain proof .

I originally bought a pair of these for myself, and was so happy I got another pair for my girl. First weekend with them I road in some 34 or 32 degree weather(dry) and they made me happy. that should have been good enough but I have had a few more days at 23 degrees on the highway but heated grips on low and my hands were still good. The only thing I cant attest for is the waterproof, not because its no good but I have had nothing more than a light mist since I bought them which any glove would have been ok with. even if the water proofing was terrible I would still want them for the protection and warmth. Hopefully someone elses review will cover the waterproof. HIGHLY reccomend these gloves

I bought these boots about 1 1/2 months ago and have had some warm not hot riding with them which was very comfortable, then this past weekend road all day sat and sunday with temps from 37-51 f and the boots kept me warm at the very end my feet got a little chilly that was with one pair of good socks. I have not had the boots in rain yet but have walked through many streams and large puddles with no issue at all so my confidence is up. Plus it's gore tex. boots definetly run large I am a 10.5 sneaker and the 44 are a little big, I also have a wide foot. width is perfect with these. and if you are a 10.5 or slightly bigger this is the one for you.

Put about 2000 miles on them so far about 1400 dry roads where they handle and grip incredibly actually had a hard time believing how well they perform. Put another 3-400 on wet roads and rain still performed very well, however admittedly it is taking me a little bit to trust them on the wet but as I push them harder they keep sticking. about 200 miles off road, lots of fire roads, deep muddy puddles, shallow to medium mud, and some muddy climbs on wide trails. all areas did great job. Only place I felt a little negative was full on highway riding on bmw f800gs after 70mph on highway even with the pressure lowered to about 31 the front (21") would start to swim a bit. but I will be buying another set when these are done
