I originally bought a pair of these for myself, and was so happy I got another pair for my girl. First weekend with them I road in some 34 or 32 degree weather(dry) and they made me happy. that should have been good enough but I have had a few more days at 23 degrees on the highway but heated grips on low and my hands were still good. The only thing I cant attest for is the waterproof, not because its no good but I have had nothing more than a light mist since I bought them which any glove would have been ok with. even if the water proofing was terrible I would still want them for the protection and warmth. Hopefully someone elses review will cover the waterproof. HIGHLY reccomend these gloves

I bought these boots about 1 1/2 months ago and have had some warm not hot riding with them which was very comfortable, then this past weekend road all day sat and sunday with temps from 37-51 f and the boots kept me warm at the very end my feet got a little chilly that was with one pair of good socks. I have not had the boots in rain yet but have walked through many streams and large puddles with no issue at all so my confidence is up. Plus it's gore tex. boots definetly run large I am a 10.5 sneaker and the 44 are a little big, I also have a wide foot. width is perfect with these. and if you are a 10.5 or slightly bigger this is the one for you.

Put about 2000 miles on them so far about 1400 dry roads where they handle and grip incredibly actually had a hard time believing how well they perform. Put another 3-400 on wet roads and rain still performed very well, however admittedly it is taking me a little bit to trust them on the wet but as I push them harder they keep sticking. about 200 miles off road, lots of fire roads, deep muddy puddles, shallow to medium mud, and some muddy climbs on wide trails. all areas did great job. Only place I felt a little negative was full on highway riding on bmw f800gs after 70mph on highway even with the pressure lowered to about 31 the front (21") would start to swim a bit. but I will be buying another set when these are done

Will this boot be ok for a wide foot?

My foot is a bit wide. I can wear standard shoes but have to buy wider brands or I blow out the sides of the shoes. with these I have a little extra room, I even can wear big socks.

Can TCX X-Five Plus Gore-Tex Boot, be worn for a long time and walked in for say 4 - 6 hours Comfortably

While on long rides, say 1 to 2 weeks, I would like not to have to pack other shoes. Can a person ware these say for all day and not end up a cripple, haha. While my wife is with me, she likes to shop, which means stopping at places and looking around for hours.
I have been wearing just these on rides and walking, I stopped packing extra shoes they are definitely comfortable enough for walking most of the day, you can almost forget they are riding boots at some points. Also they have a fairly quick break in period just a couple days and they are great.
