Like most "Chrome" lenses from the 70's trooper sunglasses, this shield has the coating on the outside w/o a protective layer. It looks great...for a while but if you clean it be very careful. It scratches very easily and the chrome tint will just about wipe off. My first one lasted about 2 months before it was completely useless. I had to buy another one because I started a filming project with the first and know the follow-up shot have to match. This time I also bought a smoked gray shield and it works perfectly for just normal day to day riding. Then I switch the chrome for filming.

Recent cervical spine surgery forced the need for a very light weight helmet and this fit the bill. It is very aerodynamic with zero lift and lateral drag during head checks. I get a lot of noise from the rear chimney vents. Also, the breath guard is a joke and disappeared somewhere on the second ride- useless. Mine was snug in the cheek and jaw so the revzilla team found a part number for a set of 2xl check pads which gave more clearance and a perfect fit. Moves a lot of air (mostly from underneath) but honestly don't really notice a lot of difference w/ vents open or closed.

Are the Mirrored visors anti-fog?

Based on some of the non-mirrored visors indicating that they are anti-fog, I assume that since the mirrored ones do not say that they are anti-fog, that means they are not. Is that correct? If so is there a reason why and can I do anything to add an anti-fog coating afterwards?
These are not anti-fog. The HJC anti-fog or 2 pin have an additional layer/liner that fits onto the back side of the shield. I don't see why you couldn't apply something like rainex to the inside of the shield. The mirror coating is actually on the outside surface. Be advised the mirror tinting scratches very easily and will not last for long. I have had 2 in the last 6 months (and I take good care of them) but it seems kind of pricey for some short lived bling.
