I am 5'10", 160lbs and wear a 32x32 in jeans. I bought the XL to use them as overpants. They fit perfectly when wearing them over a pair of jeans with a leather belt. The velcro waist adjustment allowed me to tailor fit how tight the waist is. When off the bike, they do touch the ground in the back, but when on the bike, they are the perfect length. Air flow is minimal, but I don't want airflow while it's raining. I rode through about 30 miles of rain with no problems. I was wearing the A-stars Koln jacket on top, but not zipped. I had no water to get through the pants. The waterproof pockets kept my phone and wallet dry. They were very comfortable on my 200 mile ride.

I saw the rain ahead and stopped to throw on the rain gear. I was in a bit of a hurry so I forgot to put my rain pants over the boot gaiters. I believe that this was the only reason that my boots got just a bit wet. The full-length velcro in the back can be a bit tricky to get fastened properly, but it does make it really easy to put the gaiter on. Being a universal fit item, the toe pocket is little more roomy than I'd like to have under my shift lever, but hey, my foot is dry! This is a great product to have if you aren't wearing waterproof riding boots and need quick rain protection for your feet. Just remember to put your pants over the tops of them! ;)

Do these pants have the 360º zip to match the Alpinestars Royal Drystar Jacket?
Yes, these pants do have a 360 zip. The jacket side is included, in case you need to make your jacket compatible.
