Icon Airframe Construct Manic Helmet Those of a certain age may recognize the snarling chin bar grin from the ICON archives. Gone are the fiesta of colors, the greens and reds and yellows that made the Manic such a hit with the K-5 crowd. What is left is a pure skeletal form that reveals the Manics true colors. A glossy bone matrix overlaid in black lines of nightmarish demarcation. Frantic scratchings of one possible future. The Construct Manic an ICON 1000 interpretation of beast mode. Features All world standard, meets or exceeds the following DOT FMVSS 218(US), ECE 22-05(EUROPE), SAI AS1698(AUSTRALIA) SG(JAPAN) safety and testing standards. Does not ship with SAI or SG certification stickers unless purchased in that country Special 'Naked' Finish Fiberglass/Dyneema/Carbon fiber shell Wind tunnel tested and refined Imported Helmet ships with both Clear and Dark Smoke faceshields

This is my 2nd airframe helmet. I got this one in smaller size and deffently think its alot better fit than my first. I like the design. I have nothing to complain about the helmet, was awesome that it came with a dark shield!

Bought this chest upgrade when I bought my Astars GP-R jacket, cant be happier, fits in the jacket with ease and seams like it will do alot better than the foam inserts that come with the jacket. Only recommendation is to actually mark which pad is for R and L.

Bought this jacket becuase I needed a leather for street riding and the occasional track day. It doesnt flow the best air, but is alot better than one that doesnt allow any flow at all. I highly recommend getting the upgraded chest and back armour as this jacket only comes with 1/8in foam, which in a crash wont do anything for you. Very well made as expected of Alpinestars, wont be the last thing I buy from them!

Does the medium fit into an Alpinestars GP-R Perf size 48?
I would assume the size 48/ (38 US) is a small but I can only find the bionic back in medium and large.

I have a size 46 ero Alpinestars GP-R Perf. The foam that comes in the jacket measures 19in tall, where the MD back proctector measures 16in tall. See pic for clarification.
