Dunlop Sportmax Q2 Front Tire The new Q2 incorporates race-tested advancements that add up to a vastly superior tire equally at home on the street or the track. Intuitive Response Profile (IRP) technology in the rear tire intuitively allows the rider greater latitude in line choice while cornering and provides amazingly linear steering no matter what shape, speed or camber the corner, and at all lean angles Radical new profile puts down a bigger footprint at extreme lean angles while also allowing greater lean angles and higher corner speeds to provide substantially better grip and handling Dunlops advanced Multi-Tread technology combines the benefits of a tough, long-wearing center compound for increased mileage with a special lateral-grip compound on each shoulder for superior cornering traction New carcass construction in both the front and rear tires includes newly designed continuous hex beads that are both lighter and stronger to enhance steering response in the front tire and increase cornering stability in both tires Q2 rear tire features a newly developed, stiffer version of Dunlops Jointless Band (JLB) construction that utilizes a continuously wound aramid belt for reduced carcass distortion, plus stiffer overall construction to meet high-performance demands and provide a more consistent contact patch Dunlop Tire Tips Guide (pdf)

I've used this tire on and off the track, so far have went through 2 fronts and 3 rears. I've since graduated to competing and a race tire, but up until that point this tire was all I used when dragging knees at the track and cruising on the street. It's known not just by me, but a good sized race community to be one of the best, if not the best, street / track tire available. Because of how well the tire is made and with the new dual compound tech, if you are a street rider or even a more advanced track day rider this tire will let you get low at the track and has extended life ability on the street. AND its pricing is unbeatable. All these pros it's hard to choose anything else.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Icon Overlord Type 1 Jacket Type 1 meets Type A. Aggressive, ambitious, and highly competitive. These are the the hallmarks of the Type A personality. Through years of research and development, we've extracted these traits from our Icon riders, such as Jason Britton, and imbued them into our textiles, armor, and patterns. The result is our new Type 1 Overlord jacket. It's lightweight yet rugged chassis, tailored attack fit, and multi-tiered defensive armor package expose it's true nature. Aggressive, ambitious, and highly competitive. In the urban sprawl, only the strongest survive - choose your gear accordingly. Icon attack fit Durable textile chassis Removable icon CE field armor impact protector elbow and shoulder Removable icon dual-density foam back pad Icon external injected plastic protection on shoulders, elbows and back Custom printed icon graphics Heavyweight ballistic impact panels Integrated fighter mesh panels for venting Gathered elastic flex panels on elbows and shoulders Removable insulated wind resistant liner Note 4XL size is only made in black color.

I am new to motorcycle jackets. What is the difference in protection and comfort between textile and mesh jackets?

Thanks!
Mesh has holes. Textile is closed fabric. In hotter climates, many of us choose mesh jackets even though there is some compromise of protection from leather. Textile is a cheaper alternative to leather but it is not appreciably cooler.

It's gauntlet style. It protects from road rash, that's it. You won't find better.

Tightness

Recevied these gloves today. They fit great in the knuckles but the pinky has some pressure in the second joint and the thump does not have that great of movement. I know that all my other leather gloves have streched and formed to my hands. Will these do the same? Lot of money to spend on a glove that will not form fit.

Modular Helmet Weight

I have worn Nolan Modular helmets for 6 years, the latest being an N102. I did a 800 mile day with no problems. I am on the hunt for the lightest modular you carry? My last purchase was a Scorpion EXO-900. After 2 consecutive 500 mile days I had a lot of pain in my back and shoulders!I A doctor told me that most likely the culpret was the helmet pinching a nerve in the back of my neck that caused the muscle pain. I recently bought the new Nexx “super lite” but it was heavier than advertised and I returned it to you. (see pic) Thank you for working with me on that!! The Nolan fits me well and would consider another; what is the lightest modular they have and what else might you recommend? Thank you in advance for your help!

Is this tire Dunlop Sportmax D211 GP-A?

It says only GP-A. As far as I know, the previous one was D209.
Please confirm the model no.
Thanks
This question was asked on the Dunlop Q2? No, they are separate tires. The D-series is a race tire, this is a hypersport tire. You got D209 (previous generation Dunlop race tire) D211 GP (Euro version of the current generation Dunlop race tire) D211 GP-A (the American version D211) and Q2, which is a hypersport street / track tire.
