If your wanting full out protection not the shoes for you! If you want shoes that is comfortable, light weight, well ventilated, good enough to ride and wear while off the bike and offer decent protection than I would recommend these shoes!

Euro size or American size?

I wear Alpinestars for road racing and use a size 44, should I be choosing a 10 or 11 from the sizing chart? I typically wear a size 10.5 shoe.
Go with a 11. If you wear a 10.5 go .5 bigger in size on Alpinestars.
