these are a great buy and a must have if you want more protection other than just kevlar jeans. they are much thinner than other hip and tailbone protectors but still offer great protection. happily i havent had to find that out yet but this are great for more security while riding.

Icon Stryker Back Protector The ICON Stryker Back Protector starts with a custom molded bio-foam chassis. Designed to mold to your back, air channels within the foam allow heat to escape resulting in reduced fatigue. Secured to the chassis are three layers of impact absorbing foam which are capped by an articulated reinforced plastic shell. The reinforced shell helps diffuse impact forces. In addition, the shoulder and waist straps are removable providing you with the option of installing the back protector into certain Icon jackets. Features EN 161-2/03/AC2006 CE approval Removable shoulder and waist straps allows armor to be directly inserted into certain Icon jackets Custom armor plate finishing Comfortable and non-restrictive Custom molded biofoam chassis Imported

since i started riding i have always had and icon jacket. After a year riding with the foam stock insert a close friend got in a accident and fractured his spine in multiple places (he was only wearing a hoodie, jeans, sneakers, and a helmet), hes a Harley guy. I finally saw the point and ordered it as soon as i found out. The protector is great and fits into both my icon jackets. It is nice to have the option to wear it alone but i see no reason why when i have a perfect riding jacket for hot and cold weather( Brawnson Sidewinder). It was a great purchase. so far all the Icon products i have bought are high quality.

Icon Brawnson Textile Overpants Understated style that goes over-the-top is the best way to describe the Brawnson Textile Overpants. Icon's relaxed fit and ultra-tough 900 denier chassis is a no B.S. combination. What else would you expect from a pant called Brawnson Remember the Brawnsons are an 'overpant' which means they are already sized up on size. Therefore buy a size 34 to wear over your size 34 jeans. If your plan on running your Brawnson's commando then buy one size smaller than your normal waist size. Icon loose overpant fit pattern Durable nylon chassis Removable/adjustable ce knee impact protectors Large thigh pockets with zipper closures

for the under $100 these are great. The fit was perfect for (waist 32) and i got them in size 32. The only annoyance is the swishing sound when you walk but i just take them off when i get off my bike and that one con is eliminated.

After spending a month trying out helmets Icon released this helmet. I am a intermediate to long oval head and this fits me perfectly. The airflow is great. My friends said it is too bright but that is why i got it. If you want to be seen then this is the right choice. The fit is tighter than the Icon Alliance but on the other hand it is much quieter. The only thing that i find annoying is the locking mechanism. But hey it is better than paying over $400 for a Shoei RF1100. Great bang for your buck.

Everything about the glove are great except the right glove is slightly tighter around the wrist but with more wear it should feel fine. Paying the extra for a gauntlet glove is worth it. the protection is great for daily commuting and fun weekend rides. Everything you could ask for in a glove.

Icon Brawnson Sidewinder Jacket On the look-out for the ideal jacket for kicking ass and taking names A jacket that was bred to take justice into it's own hands. The Brawnson was not only bestowed with one of the toughest names in existence, but it is truly built like a brick shthouse. Strong yet supple. Abrassive yet smooth. This badboy will take a hit and then deliver the retribution. Oh and if all that swinging starts to make you hot, just open the vents and let the fresh air cool down those cannons. Icon relaxed fit Durable textile chassis Removable icon CE field armor impact protector elbow and shoulder Removable icon dual-density foam back pad Removable insulated wind resistant vest liner Custom Icon graphics Zipper intake and exhaust vents for cooling Custom sponsor badging

This is only my second jacket and i have to say its a great choice for daily commuting. Icon's relaxed fit is perfect for upright and 3/4 riding position. it even fits well in the tucked position. The quality of the material is superb and the medium fits me perfectly.
I'm 5 foot 10 inches with a 40 inch chest and have had no problem.
I got the jacket in black and the only problem that i had with it was that the white leather lettering on the front was dirty with black stuff but with a little elbow grease and a wet cloth it was gone.
For me it was between the Contra and this. What won me over on the Brawnson Sidewinder was the classic yet modern styling, the collar which really will help on cold morning commutes, and the relaxed fit.
