I'll start out by saying that the air flow on these boots is top notch. I had no problems with heat on my thousand mile trip of the southeast USA.
The fact that they aren't covered in huge branding, bright colors, etc and generally look /sort of/ like regular boots is great.
They are fairly comfortable to walk in. I wouldn't go on hikes, but quick walks to the office or in a store are okay.
Some reviews kind of count the huge calf as a negative. I did at first as well, but when taking my trip I began to really appreciate having some way to flex my ankle (even if just a bit) while in the boot.
Some downsides are:
The ankle protection is minimal (more padding than any sort of hard armor).
If you have a wide foot then this boot will feel too narrow. I ordered my actual size (which, other than the wideness, fit properly) and a size up. The size up was too large, and the actual size has my pinky toes touching the inner of the boot.

I got these pants to go with my Rev'It Air jacket and they make a good combination. Like the other Rev'It stuff, they are the hottest pants I have ever worn...until I start moving. I did a 1000 mile trip of the southeast US in these recently and had no problems with the heat despite me wearing the black ones.
The only complaints I have are:
The seat of the pants gets to be uncomfortable on (very) long rides. A pad for your seat will help.
There isn't much armor beyond the knees (a lot is just padding).
A water liner of some sorts would have been a great addition for these pants.
Realistically these are intro pants, so you can't expect all the bells and whistles from them. I definitely recommend these for someone who is looking to be safer than denim but isn't ready to throw down $500 on a pair of high end do everything pants.

I am shopping for a summer protective pant that breathes and is weatherproof. Are these all around pants? I'm leaving for Alaska to spend 5 weeks touring. I am looking for a pant that I can wear over my underwear....:)
No, they are not waterproof. You will need a water liner or cover of some sort.
