As with the jacket, unbelievably soft leather! These pants fit snug, but have stretch panels which make them pretty forgiving. I'm an athletic 5'7, 130 lbs, 36 hip, 26" waist, and the 40 fits just right. As far as protection goes, It's significantly less than the Alpinestars Tyla pant or the Bat pants, but the Vika is a lot sexier and much more comfortable. Perfect for riding around town, even going to lunch.

The leather on this jacket is truly butter-soft. It fits snug–I'm an athletic 5'7, 130 lbs, 36" bust, 26" waist, and the 42 fits the way it should. As far as protection goes, It's significantly less than the Alpinestars Tyla or Six-Three jackets, but the Vika is a lot sexier! I love the high collar, too.

My husband loved everything about the second-hand BMW f800s he bought- except for the Singer-sewing-machine-like exhaust note. Compared to my Griso, it was pretty wimpy! Found this Leo Vince slip-on, and now his bike not only sounds great but it's more powerful too! RevZilla had the best price on the item, and great customer support when he had a question. Not only that, we received it the next day!

This new version of the Yamato is better than the previous because it now features hip pads in addition to the knee protectors.
Of course, these khakis will not protect you like leather would, but they are stylish and allow good ventilation. Definitely the most attractive riding pants I own, you can wear them out to dinner, and most people won't even know you are wearing "motorcycle pants."
Downside- shorter length than the old Yamato. They also fit a bit tighter than the previous version- I had to go up a size (from 42 to 44).

What I love about these gloves is how comfortable they are, while still providing good knuckle protection. Thin and flexible, they allow me to feel the controls (I hate bulky gloves!). Of course, I live in "Sunny So-Cal" and I doubt these gloves could withstand an East-Coast winter!
Suitable for Street and Off-Road use....

Real protection or just looks pretty?
The description of this jacket leads me to believe it really wouldn't protect you if it comes down to it. Does anyone have experience with it? All style, no function? I'm attracted to it because I want leather but some venting and jacket that doesn't "wear me" (5"10, 135lbs) but I'm not going to give up safety for vanity. :)
I have the jacket, and have to admit that the padding is much less protective than their Tyla or 63 jackets. The quality of the leather is amazing but the padding is minimal, I use mine for bike nights and city driving. I ride a Moto Guzzi Griso.
