Protection & Durability
I bought these gloves to help me ride--even though I've a skin condition that makes my hands tender to the touch. Leather gloves irritate the skin on my palms, particularly when I ride my Aprilia that has clip-ons. Lightweight glove liners with fingers help, but kept my hands pretty warm. These fingerless glove liners protect my palms and allow the perforations in my summer gloves' fingers to do their job. The half fingers slip into my gloves without rolling back on themselves; they are a little tight, but they're still new, and besides, that's better than being too loose. There aren't any seams which aids in their comfort. So far, the only down side to the liners is that the Velcro "hooks" on my gloves and jackets are quick to grab and hold tightly onto the liners. Although I try to keep them away from the Velcro, there are already a few small snags in the material.
