Felt great in the store, nice fit, snug but not too snug. After riding for 3 weeks, the boots have noticeably widened out and feel loose. purchase a tighter fitting boot and wear thin socks. They are comfortable and have good breathability besides that. You can also walk around for many hours as I did at a Powwow ( 6hrs ) and not feel too bad for a riding boot.

How high do these boots rise in front and back?

I currently wear a military type boot @ 9 inches high, I Prefer a higher cut to low cut boots.
These are mid-calf high and are comfortable. Make sure you wear socks that would extend above the calf to prevent chafing.

Can TCX X-Five Plus Gore-Tex Boot, be worn for a long time and walked in for say 4 - 6 hours Comfortably

While on long rides, say 1 to 2 weeks, I would like not to have to pack other shoes. Can a person ware these say for all day and not end up a cripple, haha. While my wife is with me, she likes to shop, which means stopping at places and looking around for hours.
Recently went on a short 260 miles ride for the day. I went to a Powwow where I spent the entire day walking around. The surface was mostly grass and that may have had some affect on how it felt, but overall I would say no matter what shoe/sneaker/boot you wear, shopping with the wife is painful enough. I did enjoy stretching my feet as soon as I got home 12 hours later.

How warm is this boot?

I am looking for a winter boot that I can keep my toes from freezing up and going numb. How cold can this boot be comfortably used? I am in Surprise, AZ and get temps down to the 20s at times in the winter. I also occasionally go to Prescott and Flagstaff where temps are much lower.
Besides this being a good boot, and I live in the Philadelphia area, where it has gone down to below 20 degrees, the warmth also comes from wearing the correct sock. Two things to keep in mind, one is how well the sock draws moisture away from the foot. These boots do that as well. Also, how much distance you will be traveling. Smart Wool is a great choice and you can also go with a wicking sock underliner. These boots will be great for the winter and you should not have any problems with keeping your feet warm.
