REV'IT! Women's Airwave Jacket Let the air in on those hot summer days, when the heat of the tarmac seems to burn right through the soles of your feet. There's just no excuse not to get on your bike when you have the REVIT Airwave ladies' jacket. It allows for maximum airflow to keep you cool, whilst keeping you stylishly protected with a combination of durable PWR shell fabric at the impact zones and strong mesh fabric at the chest, back, and arms. As always, this jacket is designed to fit the female form perfectly, with a flattering look and superior comfort. Available in 4 striking color combinations, to match either the black or daring white REVIT Airwave trousers. I recommend this jacket 100%. I didn't start out with all REV'IT gear, but each time I turn to add or replace some gear, I end up with this brand.
This jacket is made well, and it feels sturdy on even though much of it is mesh. The zippers and fasteners (like snaps and velcro) all work well, even while wearing leather gloves (REV'IT discontinued mine, but I'll link the similar ones). It feels natural, and the various fit features like the snaps at the biceps and velcro at the waist make it even more comfortable.
The air flow is amazing... it almost feels like air conditioning (not joking). I rode with it on for the BRC2 class last weekend where you do a lot of just sitting on your bike, and feeling the slight breeze through the jacket was enough to keep me from sweating in 82 degree heat. I have confidence that it will feel the same whilst stuck in traffic. I ride with a backpack, and there's air flow even with it on.
I purchased this jacket in White size 36. I also have the REV'IT! Women's Tornado Pants in Black, size 40, which attach to this jacket with a zipper at the back. It's a great feature!

I bought this helmet after trying a TON on at the International Motorycycle Show in NYC. Getting it on sale was a bonus. My previous helmet fit alright, but this one is incredible. It has great visibility, comfortable padding, and great air flow and features. I think my next step will be a black out face shield...

I bought these boots to wear for everyday riding. I can never have too much protection! They fit very well and are comfortable to walk around in as well as ride. They feel different than riding in regular boots or sneakers because of the ankle protection hinge mechanism, so that took a bit of getting used to. It's worth it to get better protection, though. I can't wait to ride more with them!
I gave it a 4/5 stars because they took a while to arrive (duh, they had to be shipped from Italy) and they're a bit expensive. I think both those things are worth getting past to ride with these boots, though.

REV'IT! Women's Tornado Pants RevIt incorporated all the functional features of the men's REVIT TORNADO trousers to create the TORNADO Ladies trousers, but engineered them around the female anatomy. They added more stretch where needed, strong textiles at high-risk impact-zones, and women-specific CE-approved armor. A perfect match to the REVIT TORNADO Ladies Jacket, the REVIT TORNADO Ladies trousers offer women riders the ultimate temperature flexibility in adventure touring trousers, with the removable 2-in-1 thermal liner and membrane. I wear these pants every time I ride! Without the inner waterproof liner, they're cool enough for warmer summer days, which is important because my friends hate wearing their armored overpants because of the heat. I've not had a problem staying cool when going over 15 mph. The place that sweats most? (I know, this is gross but helpful in a review) My hips. I may replace the foam at the hips with something a little more breathable eventually, though now that summer's winding down I won't worry about it this year.
The pants fit me well-- I'm 5'6", 135 lbs, and ride a standard sport bike. The length is perfect for me; they're a little long off the bike but perfect in riding position. The best fit detail on the pants for me is the option to cinch the waist a bit on each side. The waist stays up while not digging into my ribcage when I'm on the bike like some overpants have done. I hook the loop on the inside of my leather jacket onto the hang loop on the inside of the pants, and that seems to work well.
I, like you probably will, often forget to put my boots on after my overpants. That's really when I've found the inside zippers useful! They're just about the easiest to unzip when you're trying-- even gloves-on. However, I don't feel like they'll unzip when you don't want them to because of the velcro covers at the cuffs.
Last but not least, my butt doesn't look terrible in these! You don't have to completely compromise looks for safety after all!

I got this jacket because it was the perfect combo of style and protection. My friends say that guys dig chicks who ride but not ones with road rash! I bought it in white. The only disadvantage concerning protection that I can figure out is that there isn't back padding.
I'm really happy with the way it fits. It's true to the sizing chart, but small in comparison to real clothes (duh, it's a jacket). I usually wear a size 2 and fit perfectly in a small. When wearing my protective overpants I open the zippers on the lower back and it fits well.
Overall, I'm loving this jacket, and everyone who's commented on it thinks it looks awesome. They don't even realize it has armor in it till I mention that yes, indeed it does.
