I am usually a 33" or 34" waist and 30" inseam and these fit pretty true to size; just as described, the inseam is cut long to account for riding position. When I get to work and change out of my boots into casual shoes, the extra length becomes an issue as I step on the heel of the cuff so I just roll 'em up. No biggie.
The leather reinforcements on the lower cuffs also keep the pant legs from flopping in the wind which was a problem for me with regular jeans. My '77 Kawasaki KZ650B1 cafe has clubmans but no rear-sets yet, so a forward or tucked riding position causes excessive bending at the ankle where regular jeans would ride up and flop in the wind. The Shift Torque jeans stayed down over my boot and didn't even hint of riding up even at highway speeds. Another note, I didn't feel the heat from my engine case wearing these as I did with regular jeans and am thoroughly impressed with their comfort and style as well as the air flow despite the Kevlar and cotton poplin covers. The Kevlar reinforced panels certainly provide better protection than regular jeans will but not as much as dedicated riding pants with armor. For that reason, these jeans, in my opinion, get 4 stars for protection and durability for what they are - jeans.
It's a shame these are on closeout as I would have a pair in both colors!
Yes, I recommend this product.
