Biltwell Gringo Helmet The much anticipated, DOT-Approved and vintage-inspired Biltwell Gringo Helmet has arrived. Inspired by a simpler time, when bikes were loud and dirty and helmets did nothing but protect your brains. No ventilation, no worries. Just get on it and ride. Features 5 snaps to accommodate flat or bubble face shield Eyeport accepts many dirt or street goggles DOT Approved Bubble Shield and Goggles sold separately What else do you need Note Helmets may have size labels that differ from the attached size chart. RevZilla finds success with ordering approximately 1 full size smaller than the size chart indicates.

I love the style, fit and light weight. Just wish it was not so noisy. Will wear ear plugs to compensate. The price is reasonable.

Kept me warm at 80-90 MPH in 23 degree weather for one hour on the super slab. Then switched to back roads in temps. 30-40 for the rest of the day. Nice and warm all day. Used with dual temp. controller in combo with heated socks, pants liner and gloves. Perfect.

This is an on/off switch. I carry it as backup in case my dual controller or PDU in the jacket liner fails. Actually the liner PDU did fail, so I used it to operate the gloves while the liner is being sent back under warranty. You can hook up your dual controller directly to your gloves and another article directly, but if that fails, I will still have on - off heat using the switch and a "Y" connector.

I bought this with the matching pants, Just rode in 95-98 deg. weather and both garments flow air very well. However, I was not appreciable cooler than in a non mesh garment. Probably the hot air flowing in. When you are not moving, you are going to be hot no matter what you're wearing. I still give it four stars because the garments live up to their claims. Fit and style are terrific. I am not sure the safety pads would stay in place in a get off because I do not think the mesh would be strong enough. These 2 items will probably not see much use, as I feel just as comfortable in vented leather and a little safer. I've purchased a lot of riding gear (too much), not everything is perfect.

I give these gloves 5's in every category because the fit. feel, & syle is perfect for me. These were purchased in February for wear in the summer. I can tell they will flow air and protect my hands better than my leather summer gloves. Since this is my second pair of Rev'it gloves, I'm confident in the durability.

Bought this to wear as a 1)base layer under a 2)heated jacket liner and 3)Gortex jacket. Was warm but very wet. However, worked great as a 1)base layer, 2)with cotton layer, 3)FirstGear non-heated soft shell liner and 4)Gortex jacket in 36 degree temp. Was warm and dry. Maybe cannot wear with heated clothing. Or might be doing something wrong with temp. setting on heated gear.
Note: The pants did work well with a heated pant liner.
