You really can't go wrong with these as far as protection goes. I've heard nothing but good about them in crash reports. Comfort is decent, my REV' IT! Curbs were more comfortable. But with the protection they offer I feel it's a good trade off. Not to say that REV' IT!'s don't offer good protection. But they don't have the pedigree of the Helds. I was actually pretty torn between these and the Jerezs, but opted for these because of the protection factor. Airflow is pretty good for this style of glove. Best feel through the fingers of any glove I've worn. Price is on the high side even for these type of gloves. But given the high end materials and the fact that they're hand stitched, I think its fair. A note on sizing, I went with Held's sizing chart and ended up with a size 9. The fingers were a bit too long and I dropped to an 8.5 which were perfect. So if you don't have long fingers try a half size down first, YMMV. All in all I don't think you can go wrong with these.

This is definitely my best helmet to date. Pretty tight fit so far, but it's supposed to be a race helmet type fit. Other than the snugness it's very comfortable. Great airflow, especially from the chin vent. One of the lightest helmets I've had and definitely the most aerodynamically stable helmet I've ever had. Head checks with absolutely no buffeting, never experienced that before. All in all you can't go wrong with this lid in my opinion.

Which face shield comes with RS-1 Helmet, is it the face shield displayed in the picture?

It comes with a standard clear shield. I bought the Bell Transitions shield for mine which is great for everything except having the sun directly in your face(i.e. early morning late afternoon)

Wondering if I can just throw my Bell RS-1 liner in the wash machine? Also, I expect I should just hang it out to dry? Thanks!!

I just pull mine out and soak it in the sink filled with water and some mild soap. I squeeze most of the water out then let it air dry.
