Great tire for the buck. Excellent performance too. I'm on my 3rd tire now and I will keep using BT23 GTs. I'm also using GTs on the rear tire on my Connie and it all works out very well.
I'm a heavy guy (220lbs) on a heavy Connie 14, yet this tire works impeccable. I ride rain or shine, but mostly shine in Cali however ;).
I put 9200 miles on the last one. Simply amazing!

I simply love this tire. I'm on my 3rd so far and I will keep using BT 23 GTs.
I'm heavy (220lbs) on a heavy bike (Connie Concours 14) and I'm simply whipping it with this tire. It gives excellent traction and durability (last one lasted 8700 miles!).
I'm using a 180/55 with absolutely no issues, although the official size should be 190/50 for the Connie.
Of course, I'm using a BT 23 GT on the front as well -- with equal satisfaction!

I put 4200 miles on this tire on my Concours 14 (190/50) and I enjoyed every single one of it. I rode it mainly on super twisties and a bit in the rain. It has great grip! I'm a heavy fellow (230+ lbs) and on the heavy Connie, but it handled impeccably.
If I have to name one minus, then it's the thread life. I sort of kind of expected more off it. I now have a brand new BT023 GT (180/55) and I'm very curious how they compare.

I was a bit concerned before buying, whether this dark-smoke would be in fact too dark. Not the case! I'm very happy with it. I'm in California, so sun is up almost 300 days per year, so definitely needed a tinted shield, rather than puting sun-glasses on/off a million times a day. No distorsion in the visor.
I have a black helmet, with dark-smoke visor - really gives you a badass look. Definitely recommend!

It really works as advertised. You can definitely feel it drying on you. Fast.
I'm 6'2", 230lbs, (or 188cm, 103kg) and an XL fits me perfect. I also ordered an XXL, which was a bit loose, so I returned it with no hassle. Anyway, this is a base layer, so it's supposed to fit tight and an XL is just perfect for me. Next I'll buy a couple more, maybe a short sleeve as well. Definitely recommend it.
