AltRider Ducati Multistrada 1200 Side Stand Foot The AltRider Side Stand Foot for the Ducati Multistrada 1200 provides a larger foot for your side stand, so you can confidently kick it down and know your bike will stay upright in soft ground situations. Made from hefty 1/8 inch stainless steel, this foot features a 3D tread that provides traction for your boots. It is the most ergonomic design on the market, allowing easy deployment of the side stand while still on the bike. The AltRider foot also clamps down on the actual foot of the side stand with Torx fasteners, which means it will remain tight even after months of use. No more rattling or stripped fasteners. Made from 1/8 inch stainless steel Torx fasteners (requires T-25 Torx driver) Includes Loctite (except on international orders) Height 1 inch Width 4 inches Depth 4 inches Weight 0.5 lbs

Works as advertised. Easy to install. My only complaint is the price. For what it is, $60 seems a little much... I mean I could buy 40 or so plastic plates for that... but I always forget the darn things!

Never tried a pinlock system before but with the cold mornings this time of year I figured I would give it a try. It works as advertised... this thing WILL NOT fog up. There are some negatives, however...
1. If you wear glasses (like I do) you will need to leave them off or put in contacts because your glasses are probably fogging up and you just never realized it before.
2. With the SAL shield your vision will be slightly reduced... nothing major but that silicon bead gets in the way a little.
3. This is not advertised but if you read the fine print PINLOCK IS NOT INTENDED FOR USE AT NIGHT!!!! The problem appears to be bad ghosting and reflections caused by the headlights of oncoming vehicles. This is a MAJOR flaw... if not the major flaw of the pinlock system.
4. The pinlock system is a bit pricey for what you get (particularly if you need to by a new pinlock ready Arai shield).
Bottom line... it works. This is an excellent solution for fogging shields.... but you can only use it during the day, and for a piece of plastic with some silicon on it it's pricey.

I purchased the defender pants first and they fit so well I figured... what the heck, I'll go for the jacket.
First, for $800, the sas-tec back protector should come standard.
I was able to order the XXL for the pants in a short so they fit me perfect. I am 6', 230 with a 44 chest. I purchased the XXL in the jacket based on what I hear about the revit fit. The jacket does fit me in the chest area and there is enough room to wear something under it. The length of the jacket is perfect. My problem is the sleeves... they are too long and really baggy... to the point where the elbow armor seems it would not work well.
I like the style of the jacket although the color selection should have a HV option... or at least a grey/orange option.
One issue I do have with the safety is the main front zipper. It has no "garage" at the top for it... so if I was sliding on my belly it could open. Water could get in as well but since the GTX liner is behind it... no matter. The GTX liner is outstanding BTW. I drove home from Fenway Park last night in a downpour and I was dry as can be. Even better, I wasn't clammy since the gore-tex breathes well. Very nice.
The fit and finish of this jacket is top notch. Best thing about it so far? The air flow is OUTSTANDING. I have a mesh jacket as well and this jacket provides about 90% of the airflow that does but protects much more!
I am becoming a RevIt fan boy but I'll only give them 4 stars for this effort. The fit isn't great in the arms, the zipper could have a garage, hey man... for $800 I expect perfection. Still, I like the jacket very much. It is my goto gear at the moment.

OK, so I purchased these pants and like them so much I also bought the matching jacket. The only bad thing I can say is they are expensive... and should come with the sastec back protector standard. Beyond that... this is outstanding stuff here. Extremely comfortable, protection from abrasion is far above most other pants... warm, dry, and the 3D mesh venting really keeps the boys cool if you know what I mean.
I have worn these pants in 85F heat and they are a bit on the warm side (but wearable as long as you keep moving). The liners, fabrics, stitching... all excellent. I'm sold on Revit quality. Short some cash... but I suspect this suit will last many years and keep me well protected.

The best thing I can say about these pants is that they don't cost much. Of course, you get what you pay for. The material is almost like wax coated paper... seems like they are disposable. The "reach thru" pockets on the sides close with a simple plastic snap... so it seems likely water will get in there. They also fit like a potato sack.
They are cheap... I throw them in my bags and if it rains I throw 'em on.... but if I know I'll be hitting rain I wear my high end pants with a water proof liner... which are pricey... so there you have it... the two extremes. If you are looking for cheap, emergency rain protection... these fit the bill. If you want to be completely dry and have a high quality product... look elsewhere.

Very nice rain jacket. I have the hi-viz in XL. Nice quality but I have come to expect that from Rev'it. Rode the bike in a drizzle to Fenway and wore it right in since the rain was on and off the whole game. Sox lost, but I was dry.

Love my SMH-10. I use it mainly to listen to tunes and handle the calls from the wife asking where the heck I am!? I also have an SMH-5 on my passenger helmet and the intercom functionality works well. Make sure you upgrade the firmware when you get it (if it is not already up-to-date). This upgrades the device to bluetooth 3.0 and updating the firmware is easy. Yes, they have an Apple utility now! I'm typing this on a Macbook!

I have been using these gloves for 2 weeks now. I ordered the XL based on the sizing and I was a bit worried when I first tried them on as they were a bit small. After 2 weeks of use, well, they fit like a glove. They do stretch out a bit as you break them in so now I would say they fit well. Best thing about these gloves? The lining. Very thin lining but comfortable and your hands don't turn black after you use them (plus they slide on and off easier). In addition to that I love the lower palm pad/protection. Feels solid.
