I received these boots and was very pleased with their quality, construction, and overall appearance. They are great looking boots and comfortable to walk in and riding a touring bike. There is some airflow in/from the boots so they are OK in hot weather 80-90F. The velcro zipper pull tab is nice. What IS NOT nice is the very difficult zipper. I have trouble every time trying to get the right boot on. There is a sort of crease about half-way up and it takes extreme effort to get the zipper up. I put silicone on the zipper and that did not seem to help. I finally figured out how to hold the boot and my leg "just so this way" and get the zipper to close. I am patient, so I will keep these boots despite the zipper problem.
Yes, I recommend this product.

The TCX boots sizing say that they fit a wider foot would that mean that they would fit a EE foot?

I doubt that they fit wider. My left foot is wider than the right foot because of old injury and it is snug in my size. The right is OK. I can wear medium socks with these boots, but probably not really "fat" socks. (Size 11)
