No surprises here. It's decent CE armor that I bought for my Klim Traverse pants ( although for the price of the pants, they should have come with them). They fit well in the pockets provided and feel comfortable in the seated position. In these pants, the armor doesn't slide down too much compared to others when you stand up. I have not ridden with them yet seeing how it's still winter but I think they will do the job. I will update later as I use the pants more....

I recently purchased the Givi V46 Monokey Topcase for my BMW R1200GS. I was looking for a good case without spending more money for a BMW topbox. I researched for a while and picked this case. Big enough for what I want to do. Also got the extra taillight kit to make my wife happy as well as the backpad. I haven't had on too long and no long trips as of yet (300+ miler) but it feels rock solid on the SR689 mounting bracket. No foul weather yet. So far I'm happy.
As for delivery, it took about a week. The UPS guys used it as a football and there were two sections of box that had been cut open along the lid sections. Not sure if anything was missing. The pkg was sparcely packed with protective paper and one sheet of airfilled plastic. I thought it would be protected more. Kind of odd I ordered the topcase from a New Jersey company, where the product company was based in NC, and the product shipped from Las Vegas. Revzilla was great at timing the shipping of the other two components to coincide with the arrival of the topcase. I like the SR689 mounting system. You do lose the BMW rack but can easily bungy stuff to the Givi. I'll revisit this review when I get more miles on the bike/case
