`These gloves are comfortable from square one, although you will of course have to wear them in to have the feeling of a second skin. Lots of protection built into the gloves, but they are also easy to get on and off with the double cuff system. Nice airflow around the fingers- you feel it more if you take your hand off the bar, but its cooler than an un-vented glove. Looks slick with my Revit Airwave jacket that has a red stripe on the arm, and my red bike. Love these gloves. Also a great deal at just $90!!

Icon Super Duty 4 Boots The fourth iteration of our industry defining Superduty boot pays direct homage to it's SD1 patriarch. The visually defining rubber nub interface and clean pattern lines keep the boot's appearance smooth while hidden ghillie laces reduce snag potential. The new bottom unit provides increased support, durability, and grip while layered foam increases comfort. The midfoot support strap, with upgraded aluminum buckle, provides increased foot retention. Finally, the reduced toebox height provides a greater range of fitment. The Superduty 4, the next step in motorcycle footwear. Durable leather upper Axialmetric steel shank Slip resistant rubber sole Footpeg interface arch Internal ankle protection Adjustable midfoot stabilizer strap Aluminum positive-lock buckle Low profile lacing system Shifter interface nubs

Consistent with other reviews, this boot may feel uncomfortable at first blush, but give it a week. If you wear it daily you will slowly break it in, and once you do you will love it. You can feel the protection but don't feel the loss of sensitivity in shifting or braking once its broken in. Comfortable on the bike and off, but not something I would wear if I wasn't riding. This will be a great summer boot because it has excellent airflow. I gave it an Average rating for Style because it looks a bit "blocky" (my wife said it looks like a basketball shoe), and the "shift nubs" don't actually serve a function in my opinion. I don't shift with the middle of my instep. Took a point for features also because I would like to see this without laces- just buckles and zippers would be better in my opinion.

I purchased this with two Gerbing's ports, and the install is really nice. It wasn't very difficult/technical either. You do have to disconnect your battery and connect the leads to each terminal, so be sure to have your owner's manual on hand and follow the instructions to the letter to make sure you are safe. But after that it is just a matter of finding a place to route the cables and secure the "brain" of the controller. Mine sits on the airbox of my '94 R1100RS. With the port install it makes for a super convenient gerbing's setup. A note- try to have some waterproof caulk or sealant available so that you can weatherproof the knobs and the LED's when they go in. Highly recommended.

I installed two of these ports along with a permanent install dual temp controller on my '94 R1100RS. So far they have worked flawlessly. The only thing you have to be able to do to install these is access your battery and install either the permanent harness or controllers, then drill a hole in your desired install location.

I have RevIt winter touring socks, Sokz winter socks, and now these Alpinestars. I would say that although the RevIts are more comfortable and somewhat thicker with more technical components, they are considerably more expensive. They are much better than the Sokz brand so they are a nice middle ground. If you're rich, buy a closet full of RevIts. If not, get a few RevIts and fill out with the AlpineStars. Solid sock and good value.

This is not a summer riding jacket, particularly in the humid mid atlantic. However, for cool or wet days, it can't be beat. If you take out the interior thermal liner (which can also be worn stand alone as a pretty spiffy light jacket), it can do the job of keeping you completely (and i mean completely) dry while not baking you inside. The vents work, but you *must* open the back vent also in order to get good air flow. With the liner in (for cold weather riding) it can feel a bit bulky, but not to the point of making it uncomfortable or awkward to operate the bike. I got this on a clearance deal for like 180 and at that price it is an absolute steal.

Givi E95S Backrest Soft gel backrest for the Givi E52 and new V46 topcases. Perfect for increasing passenger comfort while riding. Contoured to relieve aches and fatigue. Black. Mounts using included studs and nuts. Requires minor drilling of the topcase using the supplied paper template. Passenger comfort results may vary based on motorcycle profile, passenger size, and topcase positioning. Five Stars topracks tend to mount closer and lower than the Givi Wingracks, which affects topcase position.

Only took me about 15 minutes to install. 10 minutes of that was wasted because I was using the wrong paper template (it comes with two because the backrest fits two different models of topcase). Make sure you match the template to your topcase before you start the install and it should only take 5 min.

I mounted this on my 2009 G650GS after I got an adapter mount for monokey cases. The capacity is excellent and it is mounted firmly. Through a few rainstorms with no leaks. Note however that my XXL Scorpion Transformer helmet only fits in on its side. I cannot fit two helmets in, but it will fit my helmet gloves and jacket without a problem. It looks really slick on my bike and the red reflectors increase visibility nicely.

nice air flow, but you don't really get the full value of the perforation (air vents) unless you lift your hand up off the bars (because half of the holes are between fingers or in the palm). Easy enough to lift up your clutch hand every once in a while, but sometimes a challnge to move your throttle hand around. Sized a but small, but as they wear in they are getting more comfortable.
