Now that I have about 3k miles wearing them, I think I can give an honest evaluation. The fit i very good although still fairly stiff. Good thing it is low in the back so that i can slide them on fairly easily. I questioned the malleolus protection but find that when laced up and velcroed in, the ankles get good protection. Very stylish and fairly easy to walk around in. They definately feel cooler than my Roadgear boots but have not yet had a chance to see how dry they are in a rain. I would definately recommend these for anyone that doesn't like to wear high boots and yet get decent protection.

These pants are a great value for what I spent. First off, they are plenty long but when seated on my bike, they are about right for covering my boots(which are the low style) especially when stretched out on the highway pegs. My only real complaint is that the knee guards can work themselves out of the compartment very easily. I can see that I am going to have to stitch it shut. Like it seems on most pants(including my Darian) the knee guards seem to be more to the insides of my knees than right over them (manufacturers must think we're all knockkneed rather than bowlegged). Plenty of air. I can see that I'm still going to need my suspenders to hold them up on my gut, I just spent 2500 miles with them on, so I think that I got a good test of them.
