For the price especially these are great. I've only ridden them a few times so I can't comment on tread life and I haven't had these in the rain yet but others who have these have said they do well. I'm coming from an Avon road rider which was a good tire but developed severe sidewall cracks after less than a year, so hopefully these last longer than that.

REV'IT! Dirt Gloves The DIRT summer glove offers the perfect balance between protection and ventilation. Lightweight mesh and perforated leather parts allow air to flow freely along the hands, keeping you cool. The level of safety is exceptional for a mesh glove, thanks to high-quality leather, dual-comp palm slider, Albany cowhide hard-shell knuckle, and PU-injected finger knuckles. The DIRT is comfort and safety rolled into one glove. I've only just got these so I can't say how durable they are in the long run, but my initial impression is this is great! Instantly comfortable, like they are custom built just for me, and the protection seems to be pretty good. The palm especially seems very well protected. If you are considering any Rev'It gloves, listen to revzilla and get a size larger than normal, trust the reviews that these are built small. I initially ordered a size L monster and they barely fit my hands even though using Rev'Its size chart I technically measure in between M and L (8 3/4). I bought the XL dirt and it fits perfectly. I trust these to hold up well as every Rev'It product review I've seen has been positive.
Yes, I recommend this product.
