I live in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where weather is hot and humid from October to April and mild and dry the rest of the year. A well ventiladed mesh jacket is a must, with good protection for arms and body and also a waterproof liner. Last year me and the old lady rode about 2,600 miles in the States and we acquired a Olympia pants and jacket set for her. We were impressed with the quality of materials and fitting. Really waterproof and well ventilated. As I commute everyday with my bike, my old H-D mesh jacket was asking for substitution. I went for the Olympia and found it to be better than the H-D product. More pockets, more features, excellent material quality.
TCX Air Tech Gore-Tex Boot European inspired styling with a Gore-Tex membrane make this the most breathable, waterproof boot on the market. This boot is not for the cold blooded due to its extreme venting. Side impact and malleolus protection makes this a perfect pick for spring, summer and early fall riders. Upper Leather and breathable AIR TECH material with micro injected inserts Lining Gore-Tex membrane with XCR product technology for increased breathability Protections Anti Impact malleolus protection, micro injected shift pad, shin plate, reinforced heel counter Foot Bed Anatomic, Replacable Touring sole with specific grip area, oil and petroleum resistant
I commute everyday and my main concerns when buying a new pair of boots are safety and ventilation. I live in Sao Paulo, Brazil - heavy rains and hot weather from October to April - and mild, dry weather (with occasional rains, like today) the rest of the year. These boots fill my needs almost perfectly. They are rigid enough to protect your feet without being unconfortable and fit very well to me (I have a high arch and a wide foot). It is a little bit difficult to tap dance on the shifter, mainly upshifting, but I am getting used to it. I faced a mid to heavy rain today (atypical at this time of the year) and my feet stayed dry and comfortable, without any trace of sweat/humidity. The materials used are excellent, including the GoreTex membrane, and the leather is of good quality, as well as the synthetic materials. It seems very resistant to me.

I commute everyday and also use the bike on weekends. Transporting my stuff (tennis shorts, t-shirts, underwear, business items, etc.) has always been a problem. I always liked tank bags - they do not add width to the bike, carry only necessary things and carry a lot for their size. I have used several brands in the last 6 years, but this one is right on target for me. It has the right size for my stuff, seats very well and firmly on my Sportster tank, has some great features and the price is right. It has a map pocket, a pocket for the mobile phone, dark glasses clip and, best of all, it converts to a backpack, a very comfortable one. The outer material is Cordura, very resistant and waterresistant. It also comes with a waterproof integrated cover. You also have an inside fully waterproof bag for more protection of your delicate stuff. Zippers are excellent, easy to operate and do not jam. A series of internal zippered pockets help organize things inside the bag.

I commute everyday with my bike and also use it on weekends. I live in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Hot and humid from spring to autumn, mild cold (never under 45º F) in winter. These gloves offer me an excellent cost/benefit ratio, the ventilate extremely well, keem my hands dry in hot weather and protect my hands well for commuting/city traffic. They are confortable and I would certainly buy them again, not for road use, but for city use only. Fit is a little bit small for me in the fingers.
