You heard me correctly. My first IS-16 lasted 3 years and had life in her still. I dropped my helmet, breaking the SunVisor lever off, which then broke the actual visor. This helmet is not light, nor heavy. It's not quiet, but you get what you pay for.
Some quick advice to people buying this: I have noticed in the time that I've had mine, and after washing the padding, that the padding does compress alot leaving the helmet feeling loose. I remember when I bought the helmet, thinking that the helmet was too tight. Now there is just enough play to say loose, but not unsafe. Just the right amount of play before I would suggest replacing the helmet anyways. I also own a Speed and Strength SS1300, and a ICON Domain 2 Devil Dog, but all build quality still goes to HJC, and the price at that! Hope this helps!

I bought this for my wife by her request, and she has had nothing but compliments on how nice the "Ruby" color looks on her helmet. She has Facebooked, Instagrammed, G+, and a million others on how much she is in love with the Helmet + Shield combination.

Changing the face shield on the SS1300 is like arm wrestling. You're not sure if you are going to win, but after some serious time and pulling out some hair, you will find that it all comes together. I got very frustrated as I lined up one side, but couldn't get the other. Last but not least, I am disappointed that S&S does not make a Gold shield. (Icon, you win this round for style and ease of use).

I love everything about this helmet...from the shape, size, fit, comfort, and noise levels. However, here are my beefs. I wish it came with the tinted visor. I bought the tinted visor from RevZilla, and let me tell you, as easy as they make it look online, lining up those knobs to lock the visor in place was painstakingly difficult. It was very easy to remove, but it crossed my mind to bring it to a shop to get it installed. With all that said, thats my only beef. Next, don't buy this helmet, 'cause I don't want to see you riding next to me copying my style!

I can say I love this suit in the way it feels. It's heavy, but comfortable. It's firm, but what do you expect from a new suit? Here it is. Air flow is nice in the arms and shoulders. The suit is very heavy, weighing it at about 15 lbs. Great as just a jacket.
Here are my cons: >Pockets are very hard to reach into...almost pointless having them. No pockets on the pants. The liner is not removable. The Zippers!!!.....All the zippers are awkward. For instance, the side pockets zip up instead of down, which gravity wants to pull them down. The vent pockets on the arm open automatically under high speeds...not sure why, but I assume the direction of air flow pulls the zipper.
Overall: Don't mind the zippers or liners, this suit is f'en awesome! I personally think it's better than the Canadian's 11.0 Suit, which has no matching pants, and also beats the one-piece 6.0 suit the Canadians have. America, you have it lucky. Glad I ordered it from you guys.

What is the true colors of the preciosa EXO 1100 helmet
I'm going to buy the new EXO 1100 Preciosa in purple, is it true to its color, and is the black and pink really more of a black and purple? I'm asking because i'm going on deployment and i'm going to re do my bike the colors of the helmet. I'm very worried that the purple is really a true lavender and pink. If you can give me the run down on this i would appreciate it.
You're almost spot on. Although hard to see in the photo, the helmet base color is black. A background layer of purple flowerish designs and then layered on top of that with pink wisps. The word Preciosa is written in Gold over everything in a scribbled artistic way. In a couple of parts there are some silver flower/heart looking things. So in final to your answer, its black,purple,pink,gold,silver. Hope this helps!

Do a quick search for the Joe Rocket 11.0 Leather jacket...same jacket, but Canadian, and comes in a suit or as single pieces. About $359 cdn. A quick RevZilla search reveals that it can only be ordered in a suit in the 5.0. I have both and are impressed!

AGV Monza suit sizing - I'm 5'8", 170 lbs, 44 chest, 31 waist. I use a separate back protector. What size suit would be appropriate?
I don't want the suit to be baggy in the waist and butt. How is the length?
Look on Joe Rocket's website for sizing details at JoeRocket.com, But it looks as it you'll be a 44. I'm 5'9", 170 lbs, 41.5" chest, 33" Waist, and I fit a 42, and it's tight on the shoulders. This suit has a built in back protector and aero hump, so I would advise against using a separate back protector.
