This product is not cheap for what it is, but it did the job for me. I have arthritis developing in my hip from a skiing injury when I was 20, and I've tried two different seats on my bike but both leave me in significant pain after only 60-90 minutes of riding. The Airhawk extended my pain free riding several hours, which is awesome.
It's true what they say, don't overinflate it. A little goes a long way.

I bought this to replace my crashed-in Shoei Qwest. I've never owned a modular before so I wanted to try one out. The latching mechanism is ridiculously easy to operate, as smooth as silk with virtually no effort needed to lift or drop. Having a modular helmet makes it easy to maneuver the bike at low speeds in parking areas and to put your gear on and take it off without removing your helmet, a bigger convenience than I anticipated.
One significant difference between the Multitec and my Qwest is that the back latch of my Scala headset would not slide between the shell of the helmet and the lining, so I had to use the adhesive pad. Also, because of the latching mechanism I had to mount the headset further back. And as with all Shoei helmets, since only the cheeckpads are removeable, the wires can't be fully routed underneath the lining so you are going to feel them when you put the helmet on. Finally, I believe that having the wires get stressed by being loose inside the helmet contributed to the early failure of one of the earpieces while in my Qwest.
The helmet's noise profile isn't louder than the Qwest, but it is different. Wind noise is a little higher pitched in the Multitec than the Qwest, but not annoyingly so.
Overall, a highly recommended helmet, with Shoei quality and durability. By the way, I sent my Qwest back to Shoei for a free post-crash inspection, and it passed inspection so it's still a safe helmet to use. When I think of those who will buy a new helmet after dropping it in their garage, that kind of customer service has big value. You pay a little more for Shoei, but it's worth it.
Yes, I recommend this product.

This jacket is not cheap. Let's get that out of the way, because in most every other way it simply excels. Superbly comfortable, great venting options, great pocket space. It looks great, and I get complimented on it all the time.
It performed fine without the liner in light rain. Fairly wide comfort range; I would say from the 40s up to the upper 60s with the liner in, and well into the mid 90s with the liner out and all the vents open. Beyond that, pretty much no jacket will keep you from getting really hot.
I recently crash-tested this bike when I low-sided on a road shoulder. Fell into rocks and dirt, had one very small rip on a seam and some punctures in the clear plastic shield over the "technical pocket" so it's no longer waterproof. Some of the reflective banding was scuffed off as well. All said though, the jacket still looks really good and should be 99.5% of its original protectivity.
Would not hesitate to buy this jacket again. Not for a moment.

I wear a 34/29 pant, and to my amazement the leg length turned out to be just about perfect right out of the box--which is great, because I'm not sure how you would go about altering a motorcycle pant.
Pros: Amazingly comfortable fit right out of the box, protection feels solid, materials and workmanship are really great.
Cons: When in my riding position on my Multistrada, no appreciable airflow makes it through the vents. I feel plenty when I'm standing off the bike, so apparently the combination of my leg angle and the way air flows around the fairing and across my leg means that the vent doesn't get much airflow to pass up my leg. I'll see how much of a pain this becomes in really hot weather.
Caveat: I have not tested this pant with the liner in or in rainy conditions.

I have ridden these in > 100 degree weather and < 40 degree weather (even without the D-Dry liner in). They perform well in both environments. You are going to sweat in them, but as long as I was moving it was good.
