I'm 6'3 200lbs and the 2xl fit snug (not uncomfortable) with the liner in and perfect with it out. It was a great deal at $300. I would say it's too warm for TN 6 months out of the year if your bike has a fairing. Probably could use 8 months on a naked bike. I bought it for the other 6 months. I now ride a BMW K1200s. Sold the R12s

Absolutey no air flow in the arms (the mesh is too tightly weaved to allow it). Minimal in the chest. This is a northern summer jacket. If I could send it back I would immediantly. It's vents so bad I am actually riding in shirt sleeves again to keep from overheating, and that's at 8am. Alpinstars should be ashamed to actually call this a mesh jacket, and have a recall. My previous mesh was a FirstGear, and will be again. It's full mesh; not just enough to place mesh by the brandname.
I live in Tenneesee and ride a R1200S
