If you've got a "long oval" head shape, then your search is over. This is your helmet.
This is my second Profile - my first one was sacrificed to save my skull in a track-day high side. My older one was holding up brilliantly. Nothing had come loose or stopped working over the 5 years and many tens of thousands of miles of ownership. I was so happy with the fit, function, durability, and safety - I simply replaced my crashed Profile with a new one.
And don't let the Arai shield change system intimidate you. Once you get over the initial fear that you're going to break something on your expensive new helmet and just just give it a good tug, shield removal and re-installation is a breeze, and honestly takes me no longer than a Shoei. (If you want to see a pointlessly over-complicated and time consuming shield system - go try a Suomy Spec 1R Extreme.) And those little vents at the top of Arai's shields? This thing NEVER fogs up.
RevZilla was great. They quickly answered my only question prior to ordering, and delivery was lightening fast. No complaints.
For sizing reference I fit a Bell Star Medium, Shoei X-11 & Syncrotech Medium, Suomy Spec 1R Extreme Large, Schuberth C3 large, and the Arai Profile Large - which fits best of any helmet I've ever tried on - like it was custom molded to my head.

How does the sizing of these heated gloves compare to other gloves in the Alpine line?

XXL in Alpinestars, Dainese, & RS-Taichi gloves all fit me dead on perfect. EXCEPT my Alpinestars Storm Riders, which I have to wear a XXXL due to the thick goretex liner.
