Great helmet over all, they almost nailed it on this one, 2 more changes in my book and they have a home run.

Great helmet, much better than the 37. cheek pads are tight so ordered some slimmer ones, should be much better. But if you don't have chubby cheeks you should be ok.... Only things I would change so far (1) visor should be a little longer so can actually be used to block the sun. (2) extend the chin bar just a little, it's pretty close but I am able to live with it. Over all I'm very pleased with this helmet. I don't see this one getting sold. I love the flat black finish!!

What are the Pros and cons of a matte black finish on the AFX FX-39? Is it true matte black is harder to keep clean and blemishes easier?
so far mine is very easy to clean and have not noticed any blemishes showing up any more than other finishes I've owned. I really like the matte black...
