Icon Alliance Rubatone Helmet The Icon Alliance Rubatone Helmet is a bad ass classic in matte black. While the color is a classic the design of the helmet is all new and a refinement of the original Alliance SSR Helmet. Icon engineers have improved on the original design by adding features like a more ergonomic head shape, a new ventilation system and an Icon Pro Shield. The Icon Alliance Helmet was designed with the sport rider in mind and is a great option for the rough and tumble rider. Coming in under 200 this helmet is a great option that is also affordable. All world standard, meets or exceeds the following DOT FMVSS 218 (US), ECE 22-05 (EUROPE), SAI AS1698 (AUSTRALIA) and SG (JAPAN) safety and testing standards. Does not ship with SAI OR SG Certification stickers unless purchased from an authorized dealer in that country. Injection molded polycarbonate shell for strength Long oval headform Fully removable/washable Hydradry interior Quick-change for-free proshield with sideplates Prolock shield locking system Wind tunnel tested and refined Molded twin channel supervent for increased cooling Rear exhaust ports prevent heat buildup Removable molded breath deflector reduces shield fogging Chin venting system reduces shield fogging

This a great helmet for the price. The quality of construction seems very high. Interior padding is very comfortable and of high quality. Wind noise is standard for a full helmet.
Shield fogs on occasion, but nothing popping open to the first stop doesn't easily solve. The shield has zero distortion. I have added a dark smoked shield to help on sunny days, but mainly because it looks amazing with the black Rubitone.
My previous helmet was an Arai. From a safety standpoint, I'm not qualified to compare these two helmets. But from a quality and comfort perspective, they are extremely similar.
Yes, I recommend this product.

A well constructed, good looking coat with all of the features expected in a modern touring jacket. No question this coat would provide adequate protection in a low side situation. Only problem is that it's VERY hot. A flat black touring coat just wants to absorb heat & the venting is very inadequate. This coat is very hot at anything over 80 degrees, even at high, sustained speeds. On cooler mornings, it's great because you don't need to put in the liner, but by lunch, you're looking for someplace to stow it. This is the only thing keeping it from getting 5 stars though.
Yes, I recommend this product.
