I live in Florida and I was comfortable while wearing a long sleeve shirt under the jacket. I've had better airflow in other jackets but the fit, finish and style combined with the build quality make this a go-to jacket in warm/hot temps. Go by the size charts and actually measure. You will probably go a size up. I'm 6'1" 210 and had to go to a XXL. My Sand Jacket is a XXXL so make sure you measure.

I live in Florida and needed a lighter weight pant for the warm temps. These fit well, have plenty of pockets and protection where I need it. The protection is not what you'll find in other pants, but it works for me. There are 6 pockets (front, cargo & rear) for holding a lot of stuff and they fit well. A little elastic in the waist makes these pants very comfortable. That the legs zip off is just a big bonus.
