Heavy and comfortable but too thick for sport bikes

They remind me of ski boots in the way they fit and flex. Very snug but not uncomfortable unless you have to hike in them. I have a lot of trouble shifting when riding my Speed Triple. They are too stiff and thick around the toes to get my foot below the shift lever. These are probably best for off-road or cruiser riders but not naked or sports bikes.
