This is an amazingly comfortable jacket -- because of the fit, soft material, and flexible armor. The material seems thinner than some others, but is supposed to be relatively high tech and protective. I don't know for sure. The armor in elbows/forearms and shoulders is relatively thin, flexible, and of of the newer high-tech CE rated variety. If you buy this jacket you HAVE to get the Warrior back protector, or wear a separate race-type one.
The cut is not as trim as I expected -- I'm 5'10 175-180 lbs with 40" chest and chose a Large because I thought it would be trim-fitting and I did not want short sleeves. It isn't overly trim like I've seen with other Italian stuff. With the liner in it fits about right. With liner out, over a t-shirt, it feels a bit loose.
And compared to other jackets in the market, this one just looks good. The Italians have that zeroed in.
At the sale price it's a bargain compared to the rest of the market.

Please let me know if the Spidi Trackster Textile Jacket comes with any back protector?
Jacket does NOT come with a back protector, but the Spidi Warrior back protector slides in easily and securely and is very affordable. Or you can just put on a separate race-type back protector, which has more coverage anyway.
