I bought these just because of the wind blocking fabric & it was worth the money. I wear these regularly now & they make a huge difference. They are very comfortable to wear & I have just enough room to wear a tighter pair of thermals under them for really cold days. The only thing I was hoping for is a bit more stretch to them. There is not a lot of give which is why I bought a size up. Over all they do what they are suppose to & I'm happy I bought them. I ride daily so we'll see how they hold up over the next couple of months.

The jacket is sold as a liner but it happens to be a good jacket just to ride in. I should have bought it bigger so I could wear it over a mesh jacket on chilly evenings after warm days. Only problem with this jacket is the forearms seem a little narrow versus the body. The forearms would not fit over the armor in my mesh. I found for it to be a liner, the body would need to be narrower. I had planned to send it back but I liked it so much as a regular jacket, I kept it...despite the narrow forearms. Blocks the wind, has a micro fleece lining and very comfortable.

Shoei Neotec Modular Helmet Evolving on previous designs, Shoei has revamped its modular helmet style with a streamlined and attractively sculpted shape that conveys the feel of freely moving through the outdoors in the Neotec Modular Helmet. Overall shell size is kept compact by incorporating the internal sun visors open/close mechanism inside all ventilation mechanisms are shaped and positioned in such a way as to reduce any possible drag. A redesigned aerodynamic spoiler also helps to cut lift, reducing neck strain on long, cross country rides. In the Shoei Neotec all these features combine to create a premium helmet that excels in appearance, protection, comfort and performance. The Shoei Neotec Helmet's chin bar is connected to the same axis point and mechanism as its shield, minimizing extra parts. This also enables simultaneous closing of the shield with the chin bar, which is then held in place with an easy-open lock release button. The shield lock system offers secure closure or the ability to keep the shield slightly open to allow for increased airflow. With the Shoei Neotec Helmet, Shoei now includes a built-in sun shield, the QSV-1. The visor tucks neatly away beneath a non-intrusive shell built into the helmets liner, and can be lowered with the easy control of a sliding button. Shoei Neotec Helmet Features Face Shield Features Easily operable lever mechanism Anti-fog, anti-scratch, 99 UV blocking New Pinlock-ready CNS-1 faceshield Wider and taller than the CX-1V that it replaces Includes Pinlock insert 3D injection molding process ensures a distortion-free view Improved Ventilation and Aerodynamics Newly designed vortex generators pull air through helmet 276 more airflow than Multitec Added inlets and outlets Vents are flush against helmet to maintain aerodynamics 5-Ply Shock-Absorbing Fiber Shell 3 shell sizes AIM Multi-Composite construction Lightweight yet strong Shell-integrated spoiler reduces lift and drag during high-speed riding Dual EPS Liner Multi-density EPS for optimal protection Two vents funnel fresh air through the EPS liner Dual liner channels route and disperse air evenly throughout the helmet EPS liner in chin bar All new interior Fully removable 3D interior liner Top center pad is removable and washable Improved cheekpad design allows better fit with eyeglasses Included chin curtain can be inserted into the chin bar to reduce turbulence and noise All Neotec Helmets sold in the US have a double D-ring closure Note Due to manufacturer restrictions, Shoei products can only be shipped to addresses within the United States

I got this helmet for work and it's a great choice. It has a ton of comfort and the drop down shield, vs. the multitech, is great. I had to replace the cheek pads cuz it was a little too snug on the cheeks, but it was still one of the most comfortable helmets that I've ever had. It's fairly light and pretty quiet. The chin bar lift is easy to use with standard gloves. The 2 things I don't like are the face shield detents...lifting the shield up and down is a little tough because the detents are so tight and not having a ratchet for the chin strap (Shuberth's is awesome!). I hoping that will break in sooner than later. Can't go wrong with Shoei.

I got these for a helmet I got for work, and boy do these make a difference. The original cheek pads just squeeze your face a bit too much...unless you have a skinny face. Not that I have a pudgy one, but the thinner pads, just add a bit more space from cheek to cheek. They're are just comfortable and easy to install. Very good extra by Shoei.

I didn't by them from RevZilla as I was in a pinch & couldn't wait...Sorry Rev Dudes! I needed a light weight waterproof glove & these most certainly fit the bill. There is knuckle protection but as another review said, the palm will take one spill & be done. However for comfort, they are quit comfortable. I have an expensive pair of Dainese gloves for winter, although with heated grips (future purchase) I think these would be better. Even though the palm seems soft & not so tacky, they actually held pretty good on the grip. I went on a road trip around Mt. Hood, it rained (Normal) & they stayed dry. I like the neopreen cuff & it worked well being under the jacket sleeve. Overall the glove fits pretty good, has good grip feel, dry, & warm enough. I totally recommend them, especially for the price. Ride Safe.

I like this back pack & I don't. I like it because it's cool looking, comfortable & has plenty of space. I don't like it because I was somehow thinking it would be water resistant, especially with the "Waterproof Zippers." Well, its not anymore water resistant than a tee shirt. If you're going to buy this pack, ignore anything in the information section that mentions waterproof or resistant. If you want a pack, that pretty cool looking, has plenty of space, this will work for you...albeit it's expensive.
The other problem I have with it is, there are no side cinch straps to help secure your load but even still it works pretty well. Overall it's fine but I did try to return it after one use...which I knew wasn't gonna happen, but I tried. I would not buy it again for what I bought it for, but if I were just buying a dry weather only pack, this would work. I recommend it because it fits well, looks good & has good space.

So...I ordered both helmets (Schuberth C3 Shoei Neotec) and I had pick one (which wasn't easy). Being as that Revzilla is so good at letting things be returned, it was a safe bet to buy both.
Shoei: I truly like this helmet but it wasn't the winner. It fit like a glove, seemed fairly light & looks very cool. My biggest problem was the size. I felt like a bobble head wearing. The new sun visor worked really well & seemed a bit darker than the C3, but that's debatable. I felt it might have a better field of view, but again debatable. I however did not get to ride in it, so I can't comment on actual performance. I love my RF1100 & wished the Neo seemed as compact. I also wished it had the ratchet chin strap, because that makes getting the helmet on & off so much easier.
C3: I have to say this helmet is all it's cracked up to be. At first the fit seemed a bit lumpy but the more I wore it, the more it seemed to mold to my head. The size is cool because it seems so compact. I was also sold on the look with it being so smooth. It looks like it has no drag & when wearing, it doesn't. When doing head checks, the helmet feels like it has no almost as little drag. I was curious how well the vents would work because the 2 seemed small & the neck exhaust I wasn't sure would work that well...I was wrong. The one thing I found unique is that when the sun visor is down, the chin bar vent flows the air over the shield & not under the visor. It drafts right over the sun visor & it feels like the vent is closed. The ratchet strap is super cool as well & very comfortable. It is truly a quiet helmet & I can actually hear more when wearing earplugs vs. my other helmet. It's quiet without plugs as well.
Overall it is really a cool helmet (even for the price). I truly feel I made the right choice but wished I could've ridden in both. I have a few hundred miles or so in it & it really is a great helmet. I believe you couldn't go wrong with either but the C3 was my pick, & I couldn't be happier.
I will mention the colors real quick because I ordered both in Anthracite. C3 Anthracite is a blueish grey & the Neo Anthracite is a charcoal grey. II assumed they would be the same color, or close, but they're not.

Bought this helmet about 2 years ago and it still rocks. Although I just bought a modular for specific reasons, I still rock this helmet when I can. It is kinda loud but the comfort is by far the best I could find. I wear ear plugs which makes it a bit too quiet but without, it's kinda loud. Overall, you can't beat it for the money. I've tried the really expensive Arai's & the X12 with both fitting really good but you're spending way more cash & the fit wasn't that much better if better at all. I'm pretty much a medium in every helmet and this one was true to size as well. I bought the matte black & it's sweet!

Great shield and it works well. The only thing that could make it better is if it had auto tint. I bought a new one with the pin lock system and it works just as good. I have a Shoei RF-1100 and it has great view. I've had the helmet for two years and the shield still looks good. Now I switch it out over the winter for the pin lock which will help it last a lot longer.

I bought this jacket before I found Revzilla.com (sorry dudes), but I gotta tell ya, it's a great coat. I wear it through the summer months with only a tee shirt on when super hot days. On the cooler days or evenings, I will throw on a then hoody and that takes the chill off. I bought a light weight waterproof shell that fits over it in case I get that summer rain. Overall it has a good fit, great airflow & looks cool. It has two hand pockets that work for me. I use the G2 back protector which makes the coat that much safer. I tried on a several coats before I bought it & this fit the bill.
