The quality and style of this shield are exemplary. But, as with almost all shields, this is suited for a small portion of the market, those around 5'8" and under. The wind protection on the chest is great, but the top half of my helmet gets a lot of buffeting. I am 5'11" and if I put 3" of my hand and arm on the top of the shield, it takes away the buffeting and head bobble. That is with the shield in the upright tilt position, which gives the most coverage of any of the positions I tried on the Versys. It needs to be 4 inches taller to appeal to the mass market, but is an improvement in both style and protection compared to the stock shield. It is also very affordable. If you are looking to go on long rides and are over 5'8" I would either get a taller shield, or wear some earplugs.
Yes, I recommend this product.
