My father talked me into buying this helmet. I was looking for a top of the line sports helmet with an integrated top gun sun visor, but it was a difficult task to find one that I liked. I didn't want a modular helmet, because I always thought that they were more suited for old dudes, but dad insisted on the practical advantages of a flip up chin bar and on the very low noise level of his C3. I took a leap of faith and bought it.
Long story short: that is by far the best helmet I've ever owned. It may not be as light as a racing helmet, but it is way lighter than most modulars I've tried.
The noise level is excellent, under 65mph you can barely hear the wind. The airflow, in my opinion, is perhaps the best feature of this helmet, besides the sun visor. You can actually feel the wind flowing on your face (with the shield down, of course).
It doesn't come in cool graphics, it makes me look like an old uncle, but definetly it is a good choice if you are oriented by the functional aspects. It's a bit pricey, but totally worth it.

If you have to face temperatures of nearly 100°F, but you are not confident enough to wear short cuff, see through, full mesh gloves, this is your choice.
The air flow is not the best in the world, but it is good enough to keep you ridding comfortably when the sun is scorching hot. The protection is not comparable to a racing full gauntlet, but feels beefy enough to guard you when things get ugly.
The style is not a problem for me, they go well with my Sand jacket and pants, They may be directed to the offroad market, but they are just fine for the touring comunity as well.
My only complaint is that the pinky could be a little longer. I mean 1/8 of an inch would make my life a lot better.
