Solid set of good quality boots. The footbed provides a lot of support and protection, as do the shin guards. For all the protection, these boot are comfortable in a pretty broad range of temperatures. They are Gore-Tex and breath, though they get a bit stuffy as the temperatures climbs over 95F. I've comfortably worn these boots on 2 to 3 hour rides as well as all day at work. They are on the heavier side, so I wouldn't want to walk any major distance in them, but they work great for casual touring, errands, etc.

This backpack rides great. The aerodynamics make it very comfortable. I don't notice any drag when riding with this pack on. The storage is pretty good, though it is a little on the small side. It does fit a laptop pretty well, and will carry some basics. The lid has a very usable storage compartment as well. The integrated helmet net is a great feature and very convenient, as is the integrated rain cover. I find this is the perfect pack for running small errands or meeting up with friends. Works ok for commuting as well, though definitely on the minimalist side.

I wanted a jacket that would offer me a high level of protection without dying in the heat. The fit and style on this jacket is perfect, and the protection features are great for spirited street riding. And on days up to about 95-degrees, this jacket is great. Even a little chilly in the 70's. Much hotter than 95, and yes it is definitely too much at anything but highway speeds. This is my go-to 3-season jacket, with my mesh coming out only on the hottest days.

The helmet fit is great. All the venting flows a lot of air. Plenty of room for eye glasses. Very stable and perfect for an upright riding position. I ride a Triumph Bonneville, and this helmet is perfect.

Can TCX X-Five Plus Gore-Tex Boot, be worn for a long time and walked in for say 4 - 6 hours Comfortably
While on long rides, say 1 to 2 weeks, I would like not to have to pack other shoes. Can a person ware these say for all day and not end up a cripple, haha. While my wife is with me, she likes to shop, which means stopping at places and looking around for hours.
I regularly wear these boots riding and find them very comfortable. I've also worn them all day at work, but I have a desk job. I haven't given them any long, urban hiking test runs. That said, they seem comfortable enough to pull it off for light duty use. But in terms of what I look for in walking / hiking shoes, these are definitely on the heavier end. They remind me of old-school hiking boots. You know... the heavy, thick-sole, ankle-supporting, rain-proof, bullet-proof, last-through-anything kind. The exact kind I stopped wearing in my early twenties because by the end of a long hiking day it was like wearing lead weights.
So... standing and walking in them for a few hours, I'd say they should be fine. But if "looking around" includes hiking up and down hills / stairs, walking 10 or more miles in a day, or otherwise really hoofing it, I'd find a light-weight pair of urban hikers and pack them along.

guarantees conformity to defi ned safety standards in respect of
impact absorption, penetration resistance, lateral rigidity, retention
system and fi eld of vision. The approval guarantees that you have
approval for all the countries of the European Union and all countries
which recognise the ECE standard. It also guarantees conformity for
insurance purposes in the event of a claim.
Please note that this C3 with ECE approval is specifi cally orientated
to the ECE standard and is therefore particularly not approved for the
USA or Canada. It is only legal to use it in countries where the ECE
standard is valid.

I would guess that since this is distributed in the USA, it is DOT certified. They do not site SNELL certification anywhere on the website or in the manual. All that said, the ECE 22.05 standard seems to be a well respected safety standard that has emerged in the European Union. If your local regulations do not require the SNELL standard, it may be worth researching the ECE 22.05 standard to see if it meets your requirements. Breathability
How good is the air flow through this jacket? During May-Sept Most afternoons here are 90+ degrees with high humidity. How well does this jacket breathe? I noticed there is little/no perforation on the back, where as the rebel has quite a lot. I'm torn between the two, as the rebel looks like it is more breathable, but also looks more like a track jacket, and not a street jacket.
This is definitely a "near-track" jacket. I wear it for street riding, but bought it for the level of protection. There is very little perf. on this jacket, but the collar and sleeve openings allow for a lot of air flow. I find I can wear this jacket up to around 90 or 95 degrees depending on the ride (commute with slow-and-go is hotter) and the humidity. Under 95, I find it very comfortable to about the 60's, then starts to get chilly.
