Arai RX-Q / Corsair V / Signet-Q Cheek Pads Replacement cheek pads for Arai RX-Q, Signet-Q and Corsair V Helmets Arai's new and truly unique sculpted cheekpad shape cradles the head from underneath for a level of comfort and security that needs to be felt to be believed. With more surface area, it moves away from the typical pressure fit to a more comfort fit based on the design's cradle support. The design was influenced by Arai's F-1 drivers, the most demanding of all for fit. Emergency Cheekpad Release System This now-copied groundbreaking Arai safety innovation was specifically developed to allow easier access to an injured rider by sliding out easily, making helmet removal easier for trained medical personnel Cheek Pad Adjustability A new cheek pad feature found only on Arai RX-Q and Signet-Q Helmets is a removable 5MM layer of foam. This allows more room if desired without having to purchase an entirely new cheek pad set ! OEM Sizing Information XS, SM, MD 30MM LG, XL, 2XL 25MM XXXL 20MM For Arai RX-Q Helmets, all cheek pads are interchangeable between the different helmet sizes. Remember, if you need more room in the helmet you need to order a smaller (thinner) cheek pad. To make a helmet tighter, you would need to buy a larger (thicker) cheek pad.

These cheekpads are smaller than the originals, but almost too small...

My original Arai RX-Q helmet was a bit too tight to the point my cheeks were getting pushed up towards my eyes. I'm not a chubby guy, the cheekpads were slightly too tight and this became annoying on longer rides. So I called up Revzilla who were helpful as always. They explained the standard cheekpads were 25mm and that I should go down 1 size to 20mm and if it didn't fit, I can exchange them with another size at no extra cost.
I received my order and installed the newer slimmer cheekpads. They seem a tad bit too thin but my helmet is much more comfortable now at least. I was surprised to see how much the 5mm size just one step down really felt. For anyone buying cheekpads, I'd go in small increments when making changes. You'd be surprised how much of a difference cheekpads make.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I have had a Shoei RF-700 since 1995 so it was about time I buy a new helmet in 2011. There were lots of new helmets out there so I tried all of them and chose this one as the best. (The Arai XD-3 Dual Sport fit a bit better but it's not for over 100mph)
-The chin-strap is not made of plastic like a few others so it doesn't hit your adam's apple.
Pros:
-The best airflow I've felt of ANY helmet!
-Lots of easy to use buttons and switches even with gloves.
-Helmet locks and completely seals making it so quiet that people think I'm on speakerphone in a car while using my Sena headset at 60mph.
-It barely moves in high winds in the upright position
Cons:
-Weight is not as light as other carbon fiber helmets
-The fabric inside is a little rough. (The Schuberth was the softest but heaviest and had an annoying plastic chin-strap that hit my adam's apple.)
-I had to get an XXL even though my head measured borderline L/XL??
Notes: I'm using this with a BMW R1200GS Adventure so I sit up straight with a windscreen that comes up to the level of my collar. I typically ride at around 60-90mph on the highway which is the majority of my use. I've had the helmet for 4 weeks now and have used it on hot days and pouring rain. My helmet is the Frost Black color and I figured I would have issues with it absorbing light and turning it to heat which so far I have not?
Yes, I recommend this product.

Does the Sena SMH10B fit the Arai RX-Q Helmet via the clamp method or does it need to be glued suface mounted?

I noticed that "TommyHolly" reveiwed the Arai RX-Q Helmet and mentioned that he uses the Sena but not how he has it attached. Thanks.
I have a Arai RQ-Q helmet (and an older Shoei RX-700)... I also recently bought a pair of Sena SMH-10 Bluetooth Headsets and they fit great!

The clamp on the side easily will fit the Arai helmet and pretty much any other helmet you can think of. There is a slight 1-2mm gap at the top of the headset where the helmet starts to curve in but that doesn't affect wind resistance, noise, or anything else. Attaching the earbuds inside of the Arai helmet required the supplied sticky velcro pads that came with the Sena because the material the helmet is made from doesn't work that good with velcro. The Shoei material worked fine with velco and I could attach the headphones anywhere without a stickypad.

Arai Corsair V Diamond Helmet The new Arai Corsair V Diamond Color Helmet proves again that Arais main focus is the experienced rider who knows what a real helmet should do and have. It doesnt fling fashion at you it advanced the art of building better helmets for riders. Its improvements and innovations reach down to the smallest details. Why Partly obsession. Partly because Arai believes every part of a helmet is interrelated in both design and function. We dont believe in change for the sake of change, fad, or marketing shock value. Features Diamond metallic paint Newly designed shell with Hyper-Ridge around the bottom enhances shell strength while providing a larger bottom opening Larger bottom opening promotes ease of putting on and taking off the helmet Peripheral belting across the forehead area of the shell enhances structural integrity while maintaining flexibility, low weight and shell size Larger upper vent tabs make operating the vents easier even with thick winter gloves New Arai SAI shield with Super AdSis shield system New SAI shield is 5mm longer in each side and provides a wider field of view New SAI shield and base plates are exclusive to Corsair V helmets Latest generation of Dry Cool line has a new silver-grey color Rear mounting straps are slightly re-positioned exclusively to the Corsair V Neckroll is removable and has additional exhaust channels to remove interior heat Cheek pads have the exclusive Emergency Release Tab feature Newly designed side exhaust cowls exhaust heat as well as add lateral stability at speed Enhanced air inlets of the new DF-9 diffuser increase airflow efficiency Brow vents now duct air into the temple area and out the side vents for maximum cooling Exclusive AirWing provides unprecedented aerodynamic performance with 5 distinct positions DOT approved Snell M2010 Certified

Is the Arai sticker on the front of the helmet removeable (peelable)?

Yes, all the ARAI logos are just stickers which can be removed. It also comes with extra stickers in case you wanted to reapply it later.
