I live in the Adirondack Mountains and we had a 90 degree day shortly after I purchased the jacket so I tried it out. The jacket is snug but very comfortable especially in high heat. I'm 6' with a 42" chest and 35" waist and ordered a large which is perfect for me. The fabric feels good next to your skin with no plastic material feel. I also purchased the bionic chest pads and bio armor back pad to maximize protection. They fit perfectly into the jacket and did not make the jacket feel bulky or tight. On the road the jacket's construction provided a nice breeze. I wore the jacket over a short sleeved poly shirt so the air made contact with my skin.

I wanted a low cut boot to wear at a large rally where I work and ride about 900 miles and also do a considerable amount of walking.
I liked the looks of the Doha but had some concerns: they were not waterproof; the laces could catch on the bike, and would they provide good support. I received them just before the rally and wore them every day. On days I thought it might rain I wore a pair of waterproof over-socks inside the boots. I was able to triple tie the laces and tuck the knot under the velcro strap so there was no loop to catch on the bike. Last but not least the boot has a very rigid sole and rigid heel cup and toe area that provide excellent support so I felt safe wearing them. They were also very comfortable to walk in. I'm very satisfied with my Doha's and glad I purchased them.

Alpinestars Verona Air Jacket in XL or 2XL? - just returned Revit Air Jacket in XL, much to snug. I am 5' 10", 197 lbs, 45" chest.
I just purchased one in a L. I'm 6' tall with 42" chest and 35" waist and the jacket is a perfect fit for me with the chest armor and back armor options. I would try the 2XL.
