Scorpio SR-i900R Security System The Scorpio SRi900R Security System is a hands free security system featuring an FM remote receiver, Three-Stage Perimeter Sensor and Remote Ignition Disabler. The Remote Ignition Disabler allows the user to remotely cut off the engine in case of hijack or hot wiring while the Programmable Perimeter Sensor with warn away detects motion around the bike, protecting saddlebags, luggage and other accessories. By incorporating RFID, the system is able to know when the remote is in range, allowing the user to never have to reach for the remote to protect the bike. The SR-i900R transceiver is capable of receiving alarm triggers from up to 1/2 mile away from the motorcycle. The SR-i900R utilizes a built in accelerometer that detects both impact and changes of angles with a high degree of accuracy. It allows the module to be placed in any position or mounting angle and requires no adjustments. SR-i900R includes TRS-9 remote transceiver, MCM (main control module), RFID antenna, universal installation kit, accessory harness, main harness, built in Back-Up Battery, Three-Stage Perimeter Sensor and Remote Ignition Disabler. I installed this alarm on my BMW G650GS. As I am travelling through Latin America and use soft bags it gives me some sense of security. The proximity award works well although in some cases I have to turn it off if too many people walk by the bike. The remote works at about 100 yards. The RFD works perfectly. The build is very robust. The remote stays charges a couple of weeks. The only bummer is the charger for the the remote is massive and wont work on 220V. If you want 220V you have to buy a different massive charger. They should make it charge on micro-usb.

PIAA 1100 LED Light Kit The PIAA 1100LED takes its cues from its famous predecessor the 1100X. The 1100LED is designed to give supreme LED performance and still fit into the same mounting locations and on the same brackets as the 1100X. The 1100LED features computer controlled Pulse Width Modulation (PMW) providing thermal protection allowing its high performance LEDs to perform to their maximum potential. Conspicuity and night time visibility is enhanced by a color temperature of 6300K. From the machined die-cast aluminum housing to the computer designed cooling fins and 4mm high-impact lens, only the highest quality workmanship and materials go into the 1100LED. Light output of the 1100LED is similar to the 1100X giving off a symmetrical pattern so a rider wont lose visibility when leaning into a turn. Bulb Type Three 4W LEDs, 6300K Description CNC machined die-cast aluminum housing and computer designed cooling fins Kit Includes Two lamps, pre-wired harness with fuse and switch

I've got these installed on my 650 beemer ADV bike. they are small and out of the way. The beam is narrow and very even. because the LEDS are aimed rearward at a reflector the light has no dark spots. the lens glass is really thick and I doubt they would break. I bought mine through a major online retail site and they took for ever to arrive. i wish i had bought them from Revzilla because I would of had them much sooner. These lights would be great for a smaller dual sport or enduro. tghe color of the light is very white. I have mine aimed a bit low and wide at the moment and I am not getting flashed by cars. They light up roadside deer very well. the included harnesses are really long and it was a pain bundling them up and trying to hide the excess. I think next summer I will cut all the wires down to make it a neater install. I used PIAA's model specific mounting bracket and it fit perfectly.

Heidenau K60 Scout Front Tire A true 50/50 dual sport tire, the K60 Scout brings a proven balance of performance on- and off-road. With an improved tread and compound, the Scout delivers better cornering stability and wet weather grip on the pavement, while delivering off-road as well. The chevron style tread pattern is similar to full knobby designs which provides lots of open space between the tread blocks to route sand, mud and water from the contact patch while constantly keeping some rubber in contact with the road as the tire rotates. This tire is a stand-out as it does not sacrifice on-road longevity and adhesion to the pavement for off-road traction. A difficult feat for any tire to accomplish. TL Tubeless TT Tube Type Tire

I have worn out two of these tires. They wear almost forever and last about 1.7 times longer than the K60 rear. At first I didn't like the tire much because it didn't hook up off road nearly as well as the rear. In loose material downhills were pretty scary. Nowadays I know the tire and I air down as low as 20lbs on my G650GS for sand and desert roads. Seems that this year between a Baja and Copper Canyon trip and forays into the Navajo landscape I have been riding the desert and these tires are almost a match for the K60 rear in that environment. These tires are drastically better than TKC's on the highway and vibrate very little. I have never flatted a Heidenau. I'd say for desert and highway riding they are well matched to the K60 rear. For mountain, mud and rock I'd match a TKC with the K60 rear. The K60 front would be awesome paired with a Tourance or Anakee rear.

I will soon mount my third set. The rears have lasted around 10K and the fronts probably 14K. This tire gives excellent traction everything except gummy mud which plugs it up quickly. It was very good in Baja and Labrador. I frequently air the rear ob my G650GS as low as 26LBS if I dont have a big load. I have never flatted one yet and I have a nail in the tread right now but no leak. They corner almost as good as Tourance on asphalt. last week I rode a in deep dessert sand for about 100 miles and they were very good. They are hard to mount and I balance mine. The front tire has slightly different characteristics(read my review if you like) and I am putting a TK80 on the front next time.
Putting a TKC front with a K60 rear should make an excellent 45/55 setup where both tires wear at a similar speed. Conversely putting a K60 front with a Tourance rear would make an excellent 60/40 setup that would wear evenly I think.

I purchased mine last spring. I have ridden it 28K miles from Baja, Mexico to Goose Bay, Labrador, Florida and Phoenix in June. I ride as much dirt as I can find and don't bother to stay clean. I have several thoughts about this unit. Firstly I wish it had been cut for N. American body types more than Italian teenagers. The shoulders are ridiculously narrow for my size and the armor should be up-sized as well. The pockets and other features work great except the Velcro front closure grabs my Cordura tank bag and has damaged it. The rubber rand around the collar rips out any whiskers by the follicle and hurts. The solution is to powder the rubber part or shave once in a while perhaps.
My jacket has worn pretty well considering what I do to it. I have a couple of tiny tears that I fused with a lighter. I have washed the jacket several times and have waterproofed it several times with poor results. I think the fabric is just too porous to accept waterproofing well. The waterproof liner does its job but isn't very attractive as street wear. The thermal liner is light but bulky and I feel like the tire Man when I use it. I have replaced it with a puff jacket that is lighter, longer and can be worn off the bike. I wish the shoulders, armor and body length were all scaled for a typical American fit. Heck I may have to go down to the Harley store to get a good fit.
This jacket with both liners on was comfortable in rain down to 35F. at 40MPH. I have worn the jacket in temperatures as high as 108f and it is comfortable above 30MPH but very uncomfortable in stop n Go traffic at that temp. It is a great setup here in the Rockies for long summer adventures at high altitudes and highly variable weather .

I have never had a pair of any kind of boots that were more comfortable than these. They are very well built and the buckles work just fine. The lowers are mostly leather and need some treatment from time to time. They do not breath much and would be quite uncomfortable in hot weather.
Although mine were very waterproof when I received them but after 15K miles of hard adventure riding they leak pretty badly although appearing to be in good shape.
My thoughts about this? If your waterproof/ breathable boots aren't Goretex- They aren't

I had a hard time finding a manufacturer that had short leg lengths and these fit the bill. The quality is very good and I have had no real damage or failures after 6000 miles of 50/50 riding. They are pretty comfortable in the rain with the liner but I still feel a bit damp. The outer pants dry very quickly and I have wet them down for an evaporative effect in 110 degree heat. I love that the legs can either go in or over my boots. The sizes are ridiculously small (2.5 sizes) . Mine kind of hang on my hips like jeans and are short enough to stay off the ground. Well done REvit and Revzilla. I'd love to see some items made to fit N. Americans.
