I bought this new Gerbing microwire jacket to replace an older version (still microwire) jacket that was removed from my person by two EMTs with scissors. This new version is made in the USA and has a few new elements that make it even better than the old one. The red color collar adds a bit of contrast to the black jacket and a nice style touch that some may appreciate. The heat distribution and temperature work fine, just as on the previous jacket. The fit and finish are excellent. Revzilla provides super service too. Just ask if you have any questions. This jacket is not cheap, but you only need to buy one and it will likely last longer than you need unless you lose it or have it cut off your person by an EMT with scissors. :-)

Loved my Arai Profile for several years and then my Shoei RF1100 but wanted the flip option and the Schuberth C3 but it just didn't fit my head......
This Neotec is terrific......great fit and really good comfort all around.
The fit appears true at least for me. The sun visor/shield works well and adds significantly to safety if one encounters sudden bright light or dark shadows (like that unexpected tunnel around the turn in Argentina and the sun glasses could not be removed soon enough) and the clear shield is excellent. The flip up feature is the one I like best. Great for drinking water without removing the whole helmet or talking when stopped for a short period.
Not a cheap helmet but worth the cost to me as safety is my number one priority.......

The Off Track Jacket is by far the best jacket I've used or owned for riding my R1200GS in diverse weather conditions. The best complement I can give is it doesn't feel like I have a jacket on when I'm wearing it. Just finished 5 K miles including the Trans Labrador Hwy and the Off Track made the trip a whole lot more comfortable.
